"I'll see you again during lunch." As Bomin and I arrived at my dorm room, he informed me that I would have a roommate, just like everyone else at Soyeon Academy. But as we entered the room, there was no sign of my roommate anywhere.

"Joohyun is probably already in class," Bomin offered, placing my carrier next to the coffee table in the common area. The dorm room resembled a luxurious hotel suite, with two rooms, each equipped with its own bathroom, and a spacious common area and pantry.

"You should get settled in first. Just text me if you need anything," Bomin said, preparing to leave.

"Bomin," I called out, hesitating to ask him something. He turned around, scanning me with a knowing look, and flashed a reassuring smile.

"You'll be fine, sister. I'll talk to you soon. I have to go to class now, or I'll get in trouble with my homeroom teacher."

I sighed, returning his smile. "Okay. Take care."

He blinked at me, mischief glinting in his eyes. "You too, High Queen."

Before I could scold him for using that title, he swiftly walked out and closed the door, leaving me alone. I glared at the closed door, feeling a mix of annoyance and gratitude towards Bomin, and then sighed deeply as I collapsed onto the sofa. Gazing out the window, I let my thoughts wander.

Mr. Bae's words echoed in my mind, stirring a nauseating feeling in the pit of my stomach.

"Our Jangmi had trusted you with the Clan, and we have no choice but to grant her wish. I believe she had her own reasons, although I doubt you're worthy as a High Queen."

I hadn't realized I was biting my lip so hard until the metallic taste of blood tinged my tongue. Startled, I snapped out of my trance, determined to distract myself from the heavy burden that now rested upon my shoulders.

With newfound resolve, I began pulling my carrier into my room and commenced the task of unpacking. The thought of having a roommate brought a glimmer of comfort. Perhaps sharing the room with someone would alleviate the loneliness that threatened to consume me in this unfamiliar place.

As I arranged my belongings, I couldn't help but wonder who my roommate would be and how they would react to the news of my unexpected position as the High Queen of the Rose Clan. But for now, I focused on making my room feel like home, creating a sanctuary within these walls that held secrets and whispers of an ancient legacy.

Yoon Ahyun made her way through the opulent halls of the Sakura Grand Mansion, clad in her school uniform. Balancing a glass of water in her hand, she paused outside the Sakura High King's bedroom when she heard faint grunts emanating from within.

Her curiosity piqued, she deliberated whether to knock or not, eventually summoning the courage to tap on the door.

"Cheol oppa?" she called out, but received no response.

Undeterred, she tried again, "Oppa, it's me, Ahyun!"

Still, silence prevailed, leaving her in a state of uncertainty.

After waiting for a few moments, Ahyun's concern got the better of her, prompting her to twist the doorknob. However, her attempt was met with a startling surprise as the door swung open abruptly, revealing a flushed Seungcheol with the front buttons of his silky pajamas undone.

"Oppa, what were you doing?" Ahyun raised a skeptical eyebrow, her shock evident. Seungcheol's eyes widened, hastily covering himself, and Ahyun didn't need to ask twice to understand what had been transpiring.
