~~~ Three Months Later ~~~
Dustin walked down the street, the hood of his jacket pulled up. It was a rainy day in October - it had been a few months since he and Luca got together.
He hummed under his breath as he approached Luca's apartment building.
Leaning against the building was a figure dressed in all black, smoking a cigarette. The familiar 10 was over his head.
"Hey," the figure greeted him.
"Luca," Dustin sighed. "We need to talk."
"I know about what you see. I figured I'd play dumb to see if you'd tell me. But you didn't." Dustin froze at Luca's words.
"Lu..." Dustin trailed off. "Why? What makes you so dangerous?"
"You'd turn and run or think I'm mad," Luca smiled dryly, dropping the burning end of his cigarette.
"I've heard more than I care to repeat," Dustin said calmly.
"I'm the son of an archangel," Luca said bluntly. Dustin just stared for a minute.
"No way. The last mention of archangels was in that old religion. No one's followed it for hundreds of years," Dustin shook his head.
"Christianity," Luca said, almost sharply. "And yeah, you're right. No one's followed it for a long time. It's been forgotten."
"Archangels don't exist," Dustin insisted. Luca took a cigarette out of his pocket.
"You see this? No lighter, or anything, right? It's raining out."
"Yeah, what about it?" Luca snapped his fingers and the end burst into flames.
"How...? Is it rigged?" Dustin demanded, completely confused.
"No. I can do things most people can't even dream of," Luca smirked. "My father is the archangel of death and retribution. Azrael. I'm supposed to be the one to raise Lucifer to bring the end."
