Chapter 33-Tris

     I walk into the tattoo parlor expecting to see Tori and Bud, but instead I see...Adrienne?
"What the hell are you doing here. You were cut."
"Well, when I went to the Factionless, I met this lovely woman named Evelyn." She smirks.
"And she said she wanted a new girlfriend for her son. So she got Four, oh, wait, Tobias really drunk. Long story short, I'm pregnant. And he's the father." With that she walks off. Hair flipping to the wind from the open window. My throat goes dry. No, Tobias wouldn't do that. She looks about 6 months...no. Back then I couldn't give him what he wanted. So he went to the initiate that flirted with him all the time. Tori and Bud obviously aren't here, so I go home.
"Baby! Why are you..."
"I'm leaving." I say,throwing clothes in a duffle bag.
"Tris. What's going on? You know I l-"
"No you don't love me. If you did you wouldn't have knocked up that bitch. She can move in with you."
"What do you mean?"
"When did you last see your mother?"
"6 months ago, why?"
"Did you get drunk?"
"I had one beer Tris."
"Well, you fucked Adrienne, and now she's pregnant. All because I couldnt have sex with you because I WAS SCARED!"
"Why would I ever do that Tris?"
"Because I couldn't give you what you wanted. You're in this for the sex!" Tobias moves closer, and reaches out for me.
"Tris. Don't call it sex. We make love. That's what people do when they're in love."
"We were in love. Then you fucked it up. Bye Four. Go be a father to your child." He turns around to grab my wrist,but I slam the door in his face. We are done. Through marriage I thought we would be happy. Sure we would still fight,but we would always make up. But not this time. My footsteps echo in the hallway, in an almost slow motion effect. All I can hear is my heart pounding in my ears. And when it skips a beat, there is just white sound. All there was. Is now all nothing.
