"Ok listen up and listen good. This prison is our new base of ops, we're going to go throughout the surrounding neighborhoods and supply them with food and weapons to win them over. If we can win over the populace then maybe things will change for the better around here. Everyone grab a duffle bag of supplies and get going!"

I activated my hover board and picked up two duffle bags. I weaved in and out of streets and landed on an old city block neighborhood for apartment housing. I knocked on doors and handed out food to the kids and gave the others weapons. I continued this cycle for a while. I would get the regular "thank you" or a hug, sometimes I would get a scream or something worse, maybe an extra bullet wound or a rip in the lab coat.

I finished my last street and got stopped by a group of bots and a couple human cops." Sir you're going to have to drop all that stuff and come with us." Said a stern faced man. I counted, about six of them. I smirked and made eleven copies of myself. "Two for each one of you." I was immediately met with a taser dart to the back and being put against the ground. Then I heard cracking. Not cracking, gunshots! The bot holding me down exploded into wires and scrap metal as I looked up and saw a middle aged man lighting up the rest of the squad with a small carbine. Those shots were greeted with more shots at the robots and people. These were the people I helped, and they're helping me right back.

I spent the night in my little compartment of the prison. I had an ops tablet that gave me the local news and what our logistics were on inventory and missions. I was checked the news when I remembered something. Hanson created vampires a while back and they had gone down for a time. People were starting to shoot up what they called "prowlers" and they were being exterminated. I thought to myself, at least one good thing is happening around here.

I went back to my room and Ruby was already in the bed. I don't mind having a roommate, but sometimes I just want some space to myself. I pulled out one of the long term operating mats that people would use on camping and slept on that for the night, it wasn't comfortable, but life just isn't supposed to be like that.
