"The girls need to get their hair done, but they want their hair in braids with the weave. Are they old enough to get that? How long is toolong? Can't they just use their real ha-"I was about to text to Ashlen, but deleted.

This is probably my sixth time about to call or text her for advice, but backing out. Never realized how important she is to my decision making.

I guess it's just my pride in the way, but it's also her pride she has more pride than I do, she would ignore my call or text just to prove a point.

"Daddy can we go to Auntie Len house?" Ava'Marie said as her sisters stood behind her as usual.

"When are you gonna stop being the spokesperson of the group?"I said.

Ava'Marie got behind Ana'Maria and pushed her forward."Uhh daddy can we go to Auntie Len house?"Ana'Maria asked.

"Yal don't want to see your Auntie Ans"I asked.

"She said she was at Auntie Len's house."Ava'Marie said.

"Damn, alright, get ready to go."I said.

Once we made it to Ashlen's house, Everyone was outside chilling. The kids were having a water balloon fight as the adults sat and socialized.

The girls ran out the car to go play with the kids.

Opening my door and stepping out the car, I said "Hello everyone, Ashlen can you come here so I can speak to you."

She got out of Stephen's lap and came to me.

"Yea What's up?"she said standing in front of me.

"I just wanna say I'm sorry for snapping on you, when all you tried to do was help me. Never realized how important you are to my decision making, Besides my words and actions, I still love you." I said opening my arms for a hug.

"Apology accepted baby brother, I love you too."she said hugging me.

Once she let go,I got back in the car"You not staying?"she asked.
"Nah I got things to do at the house."I said.

"Alright."she said shutting my door.

We said our goodbyes and I left.

My plan was to move, so throughout the week I was ordering stuff for the house and it should be here today. So I wanted to be there when the delivered it.

I wanted to move to surprise the girls and to break the news about them having a baby brother. Also, I just don't like the fact there was a man fucking my wife in that house, I don't want Cassie to know where I live, the house is closer to my ma's house, and just for a fresh start.

While the wait I went to the store to get baby stuff, such as a crib, yaddi yaddi da, all the stuff a baby needs.

Once I got to the house the movers just arrived. They helped move it in and all. The house looked very nice, definitely since there is now furniture in here. My boys came and helped fix up the house.  Truly impressed.

Standing in Aja'Mariane's room , made me realize I forgot her blanket. She will not go to sleep without it.

So I rushed back to the house to get it, just to find Cassie there.

"What are you doing here?"I asked

"Just tryna get my stuff thats all."She said looking down.

"Oh cool."I said heading upstairs. I grabbed A the girls blankets.

I went back downstairs and she was still folding her clothes putting them in a bag.

"What's the gender of the baby?"she asked.

"A boy, and why you got sunglasses on, in the house?"I said.

"You always wanted a boy, now you will."she said.

"Yea." I said. Getting a box and putting Kitchen items in it."Why you boxing those?"she asked.

"I moved."I said."That's good, what you doing with this house."she said."Keeping it for emergency or anything."I said picking up the box and leaving the kitchen.

"Oh , that's a good idea."she said as I walked towards the door.

"Yea, but I'm leaving ."I said opening the door.

She was acting dead suspicious. But I don't care. That's her issue.

I went back to the house and continued to finish up my son's room.
