"Biggie what's going on? What's the tension between you and your sister?" Ma said.

"What tension? Ansley and I are fine."I said."Your older sister, Ashlen."Ma said."I have an older sister?"I said.

"Aiden Anthony stop playing,what's up with Ashlen and You. There was tension last night when we ate Sunday dinner."Ma said as she played with Ariel.

"We haven't talked for 5 days now."I said."Why is that?"Ma asked.

"She tries to control my life, she wanted me to divorce Cassie. You need to tell your daughter to be more like my little sister, my little sister minds her business. She stays in her family circle, not tries to get in people's problems and issues. Nobody knows what goes on in Ansley's house, just like she doesn't know what goes on in ours "I said.

"And why would she want yal to divorce?"Ma asked."Well Cassie and I have been cheating on each other, but I didn't want to end our marriage." I said.

"Why didn't you want to divorce?"Ma asked.

"Well she divorced me and hasn't been home since the night my guy friends and I went out , but I didn't want to get a divorce because I made a commitment to her when I married her. I didn't want to give up on my marriage, but she did."I said.

"I think you owe your sister an apology. She only wants the best for you and you know that. You know you probably really hurt her. Cause all she wants to do is protect you and Ansley. She was keeping you from getting hurt. You can't get mad at her for telling you what to do when you want her help. "

I smacked my teeth and said "yes ma'am."

Ma called Ashlen."Smiles can you come over here....Alright I love you , see you in a few."

Minutes later Ashlen came with Amari and SJ.
"Nana!"Sj said running to Ma."Hey Sj ."Ma said picking him up."Hey ma."Ashlen said walking right past me carrying Amari."Hey Ashlen, you see your brother. Stop being rude."Ma said.

Ashlen rolled her eyes and looked at me."Hey Aiden, I bet you look silly now that she divorced you."

"Aaliyah!"Ma yelled as Ashlen laid Amari on the sofa.

"Man fuck her, I don't care no more. I'm leaving."I said walking to the door.

"Come back Anthony."Ma said. I huffed and came back.

"Ashlen say your apology for saying that."Ma said.

"I'm sorry for saying that Aiden."Ashlen said.

"What did you forget to say."Ma said.

"Besides my words and actions,I still love you." Ashlen said. Ma had us always say that to each other growing up.

"Now give him a hug Ashlen."Ma said.
"Ma I know damn."she said giving me a side hug."Watch who you talking to Ashlen."Ma said.

"And that wasn't a real hug , hug him like you mean it."she added.

I swear this is the most aggravating thing she makes us do. Ashlen gave me a hug and pulled away.

"I accept your apology, although it's not genuine. And I love you too."I said.

"Forced apologies aren't usually genuine." Ashlen said.

"Ashlen Aaliyah Alsina I am not liking your attitude right now."Ma said.

"I'm sorry, I'm just not gonna act all friendly with a dumb lame ass Nigga who disrespected me in my house and got mad at me for just tryna help him." She said picking Amari back up.

"That's why were here, so he can apologize."Ma said.

"Nah I don't need his forced apology, I'm not with the fake shit, I know you told him to apologize to me. He'll admit he's sorry when he's truly sorry. I'm leaving, SJ you staying here or leaving with me?"Ashlen said.

"Staying."SJ said. "Alright." Ashlen said before leaving with Amari.

"I'm leaving too."I said.

"Yal need to get it together before I get your dad involved and you know he'll lock yal both in a room until yal good again." Ma said.

Was it wrong for Ashlen to act like that?
