August pov

"So where do we start?" Ashley said looking at me.

"We're going on a trip to Mongolia." I said.

"Our son won't be able to speak English ." She said just thinking.

"Well we'll learn his language as he learns ours."

"Yea." She said.

We had Ashlen watch the kids as we went on our trip to Mongolia.

My hopes is to at least find a clue to where my son is.

We made it to the mans place.

"Is his body still in there?" Ashley said as she became uncomfortable.

"Nah, we flew down here a weekend and had everything fixed with the help of doctors and investigators. Paid them to rule his death as suicide and clear our names from it. And none of his family questioned it nor cared sadly." I said.

"I don't think I wanna go in. I don't want to go in there." Ashley said as she turned red.

"Ashley.."

"August I don't want to go in there." She said.

I sighed and said "ok".

I went into the place and I looked around. This was my first time here. It became overwhelming knowing my wife was tortured here. And my daughter grew up in this place.

I happened to find the room Ashley was stuck in. Her drawings was the only thing beautiful about it. It was saddening knowing this was all Ashley and Anjoley had.

I left the room before I could get too sad. I went into a room that he probably stayed in. Looked in dressers for clues.

I found his phone. God it's good they didn't take that.

I looked through it , found messages that dealt with the whole plan of getting Ashley, and just regular conversations.

I went through confirmation emails and text and found my answer.

There was a conversation about getting a passport for our son and what to do with him.

They flew him back to L.A. and the plan was to put him in foster care. Lord please let us find our son.

Excited about the little information I did pick up, I was happy.

I grabbed his phone and left out.

"Our son is in L.A." I said once I got in the car.

Ashley had her eyes fixed to her phone, I guess so she doesn't have to look up.

"That's good baby." She said.

"Here's his phone." I said handing it to her.

"Ok." She said.

"You not gonna look through it?" I asked.

"No, I don't need to." She said.

"Ok."

We sat around a little until we were able to catch the flight to L.A.

I honestly wanted to know what was going through Ashley's head. She's been so funny acting about finding our son, but I understand why she feels that way, just tryna avoid the whole situation and being reminded of everything. But I know she just wants to skip the process and just get to our son.
