Lately Ava'Marie been staying with her mom and each time she comes back, she has an attitude. Like she seems as if she doesn't want to be with me no more. But I now see why she's doing that.

"Anthony, I've gotten a wonderful opportunity, so my mom and I are moving to New York. And Ava'Marie wants to come with me. But before we go down there, we're going to Korea to see family" Gigi said.

"No she's not going."I said.

"Why not?"she replied.

"Because I said so."I said.

"But that's what she wants. She wants to stay with me. You want what makes her happy, right?"

"Fuck allat, I don't want her leaving she needs to stay here with her family."

"She see Yal bout every day, she never met her family in Korea. Stop worrying about yourself and more about your daughters happiness. She was excited when she heard we was going to live in NYC. "

"She's happy right here."I said.

"No she's not. She doesn't want to stay with you no more."

"What makes you say that?"

"She told me herself . Anthony you gotta understand, she's getting older now, she's gonna start hitting puberty and all that. She needs to be with me when that happens. Unless you wanna deal with periods, cramps , mood swings, all of that."

"I can deal with that shit though, I had two sisters. My dad was able to deal with it on his own, I got two more girls I'm gonna have to deal with anyways so what you getting at?"

"She wants to stay with me, that's what I'm getting at." Gigi said.

"Yea ok Gigi." I said walking back in my house and she got in her car.
"Gianna come here."I said as I closed the door .

"Yes daddy."she said coming to me.

"So you tryna leave me?" I asked .

"Yes sir." She said.

"Why is that ?"I said.

"Cause I want to stay with my mom."She said.

"Why you wanna stay with her, I thought you like staying with me."

"I like staying with mama, I'm the only child when I'm with her and I get to go to Korea and live in New York." She said.

"Ok so there's a deeper reason to this, lets go sit down and have daddy daughter talk."I said guiding her towards my room.

As we tried to walk in my room, Ana came running in with us. "Go away golden child, Its Ava and daddy time, go bother London."I said. She rolled her eyes and left.

"What's wrong baby girl?" I asked as we laid in bed and looked at the ceiling.

"I don't get much attention here. It's all about Ali, Aja, Ana, and London. But when I'm with mommy I'm the only child and I get all the attention and I don't have to share her."Ava said .

"Oh so you don't like sharing me?"I asked.

"I love my siblings so much, but I liked it better when it was just us."she said.

"So that's the only reason you want to stay with your mom?"I said.

"No, I like staying with ma, we have fun. And now we're moving to New York. I wanna go to Korea too. I just rather be with mommy ."she said.

Oh wow I never thought my baby girl would want to leave me. Like we was pb and j. Now she tryna leave me. This not even sitting well with me. Her wanting to move far away from me is killing me. But if that's what she wants.
