Ezra's POV

  I was playing with Evie and Achen. While Sabine was helping Zoe dye her hair. I sensed something strange but I couldn't put my finger on it.

"Daddy to Evie! You okay?" Evie asked worried.

"Yeah I'm fine. Did you find what you were looking for?" I questioned.

"Yeah it's a droid kit. See you can make your own little droid." She said excitedly. Then showed me the hologram of it.

"Is that what you want for your birthday?" I asked. Evie and Achen were both planning their birthday it was in a few months so we had time.

"Yes." She answered happily.

"What do you want Achen?" I asked.

"The Ultimate Prank Guide! This thing has all the best pranks ever!" He said with enthusiasm. Stella came running in.

"Evie my Mom is gonna show me how to do repairs on the Ghost wanna help?" Stella asked.

"Yes!" She Evie said excitedly. "But, I don't want to leave Dad alone." She added.

"It's okay honey go on." I pushed.

"Okay." Than I watched as my daughter and the little Twilik left.

"So Zeb said you used to be a prank master. Any pointers?" Achen asked.

"Nope! A master never reveals his secrets." I told him winking.

"I will find out your secrets one way or another." He reassured himself. Than Zoe and Sabine walked in I loved how much Zoe looked like Sab.

"So, what do you think?" Zoe asked hopefully. She didn't cover all her hair she just had some strips of neon green and a dark purple.

"It looks amazing sweetheart." I told her. I walked over to her then kisses her forehead. She turned a light shade of pink.

"Thank you Dad." She responded. Her facial expression changed from flustered to confusion. "Did you-." She cut herself off.

"What's wrong?" Sabine asked. Zoe stayed silent looking at the floor.

"Zoe talk to me." I told her. Zander ran in and looked at Zoe. She glanced up at him.

"You sensed it too?" Zander asked. She nodded in confirmation.

"What did you sense?" I asked.

"I'm not sure. A disturbance or something of that sort." She explained regaining her voice.

"I will asked Kanan and see if he sensed it." Zander told us. Zoe followed him out of the room.

"Why didn't you sense it?" Sabine asked.

"I'm not sure Sab." I admitted. She hugged me and I hugged her back.

"I will stay guard." Sabine told me.

"I'll do the same." I told her. She gave me a quick peck on the lips. Than she left.

Unknown POV

Atilon, my apprentice is here I was ready to see who else was with him. I saw the ship he was living in.

  Zoe's POV

I was wandering around the cargo hold when a ship landed. I grab my sabers and waited for the figure walked out of it's ship. I ran and before I could do anything I was frozen. I tried told move as the figure walked over to me. I was horrified.

"Where is Ezra Bridger." He growled.

"What do you want with him?" I asked harshly.

"He is my apprentice of course." He laughed evilly.

"That's not true." I growled furiously.

"Hey!" I heard Dad shout. He ignited their lightsaber. He released me. Then the stranger removed his the hood.

"Maul!" Dad barked angered.

"Apprentice." This Maul guy said mockingly.

"Zoe get away from him!" Dad said. Before I could run I felt my through tighten. I was also raised in the air.

"Dad." I gasped out.

"Zoe! Maul put her down!" Dad commanded.

"So don't do this." He said than tightened his grip I fought to stay up.

"This is your last warning! Let! Her! Go!" Dad said he was really not messing around now. Maul laughed. My vision started to blur. Than a world of darkness took over.

  Sabine's POV

I ran outside with Zander and the first thing I saw was Zoe's eyes roll to the back of her head and her body collapse.

"NOOOO!" Me and Zander we both screamed. Maul and Ezra both turned around. I charged at Maul and ignited my darksaber and jumped at him. He force pushed me into Ezra.

"Mom, Dad!" Zander yelled.

"Go get Kanan!" I told him. He ran into the Ghost and climbed the ladder. Me and Ezra stood up and glared at Maul.

"You know, I thought that Jedi weren't aloud to have attachments like love or family. Yet, you have a wife and kids. Some Jedi you are. I mean look how vulnerable once I harm your precious little girl!" Maul mocked. I saw Ezra start to hyperventilate.

"Ezra listen to me. This is Maul we are talking about. This is what he wants. He wants you to use the dark side you have to resist. Ezra do it for Me and the kids." I told him.

"I can't! He is right I'm a horrible Jedi!" Ezra whimpered.

"I can't believe I thought you would be a good apprentice." Maul laughed.

"I'm done!" Ezra yelled. Than ran at Maul with his lightsaber ignited and in hand. He started slashing at Maul and no matter how load I yelled to him he was to focused on Maul.

  Zoe's POV

I woke up my vision was still fuzzy. I looked up and saw Dad with his lightsaber above his head about to kill Maul.

"Dad." I said weakly. He looked at me and his expression softened. Maul ran off and Dad ran by me kneeling down then hugging me.

"I was so worried about you." He told me and moved my bangs out of my face. Kanan and Zander ran to us.

"Zoe are you okay?" Kanan asked.

"My through hurts." I told them.

"Okay sweetheart we can go get you some water." Mom told me. We walked in the kitchen and sat down with some water.

"Why dose Dad hate Maul so much?" I asked.

"Did you hear about Malacor." Mom asked.

"Yeah Dad trusted a sith and than Inquisitors came and one thing lead to another. Kanan told me about what happened." I told her.

"That was the sith." Mom said.

I knew he would taunt my father forever.
