Things are Different

Sabine's POV

Ever since Kanan and Ezra got back from talking with Bendu they had been obsessed with finding out who Zoe was bonding with. Me and Hera thought it was healthy for her to be socializing.

"Sabine this could be an Imperial! Why are you not freaking out?!" Ezra asked hotly. I sighed and sat with my legs crossed on the bed.

"Ez, she will be fifteen soon you also were able to socialize with Zare and he is an Imperial when you were fourteen. That and I trust her not to be doing that." I pointed out. He sighed and sat beside me.

"We can't loose her again." He whispered.

"I know but, she's getting older I mean, Kanan and Hera loosened the reins with us. Why shouldn't we do the same?" I suggested.

"Fine but, I still wanna know who she is talking to or even creating a bond with who ever he or she is." He said and I nodded in agreement.

Hera's POV

I was sitting watching Kanan and Zoe spar. After the incident with Zoe and Zander's sparing, we didn't let them train together.

"One, two three, four, five, six!" Kanan said quickly making her move faster. I could tell how focused she was, her eyes not leaving Kanan's saber and feet planted firmly on the ground. I noticed her com not far away from where I was sitting.

"Oof!" Zoe exclaimed and fell on her back. Kanan offered his hand to help her up, which she grabbed and got up.

"Take a break. We will resume after." Kanan said and patted her on the back. She sat down with a bottle of water and gulped it down.

Kanan's POV

I walked over to Hera then sat beside her. She was looking at Zoe very watchful. Zoe grabbed her com and clipped it on her belt.

"When is our next mission?" I asked Hera.

"Soon, we will leave after you guys are done with training." Hera answered.

"Zoe go get your armor on!" I commanded. She nodded and left.

"We should go too." Hera said getting up. I got up too and prepared for mission briefing.

Ezra's POV

We were all in the common room once again, for another mission briefing.

"So, we will enter the base here. At the landing pad." Kanan explained pointing to a hologram on the holo chest table. "Zoe, Zander and Lucas will all work on getting the chip. Everyone else will be your cover and support." Kanan added.

"This information is important. Getting it is priority number one." Hera explained.

"Dose it matter how we get the data-chip?" Zander asked with a suspicious smirk while looking at Zoe.

"No, but try and be stealthy." Kanan begged. They nodded but, Zoe seemed to be in her own little world of thoughts...

Zoe's POV

I understood the mission and my part. My biggest worry was that Alexander would be there. We would have to fight and if I have the the chance I might be forced to kill him. What if it's the other way around!

"Zoe!" Mom snapped.

"Yeah!? What were you saying?!" I ask not noticing that mom was talking to me.

"Any questions about the mission?" Hera asked.

"No." I answered flatly.

"Okay, we will be coming out of hyperspace soon so get ready." Kanan commanded. We all got up and got ready.
