Complicated Love

Sabine's POV

Ezra could now leave the med-bay and do stuff. Hera, Kanan, Zander, Lucas and Zoe were getting a mission. I was waiting for them to get back. I saw them in the distance.

"So?" I asked.

"We are going undercover at an Imperial party as Senator Bail Organa's special guest. But only five of us can go. Zoe, Zander and Lucas than they will need two of us to be their parents." Hera explained.

"Okay who are going as the parents?" I asked.

"Kanan because I don't think Ezra will be able to with his wound not being healed all the way. Than you or me." Hera explained.

"I can stay and watch Ezra and the kids. Because you might have to talk about politics or whatever." I told her.

"Okay our shuttle arrives at 1800 (6:00 p.m) so get ready." Hera told them.

  Zoe's POV

I was looking at some dresses to wear tonight. I figured I should wear a colored one so that I would be match my personality. Than I found the one.

Zoe's

It was perfect I checked the time it was 1700 (5:00 p.m) one hour. I went to the freshener and showered than dried my hair. I put a little eyeliner, blush and lipgloss. I put on my dress and went to get Mom's opinion. I walked in my parents room and smiled.

"Oh my Mandolor! You look beautiful Zoe." Mom complimented. I blushed wildly.

"Thank you." I told her.

"Zoe come on we're leaving!" Zander told me.

"Okay coming! Bye Mom." I said. I walked to our shuttle. The boys were in black suits and Hera was in a dress.

Hera's

We were on our way to the party Kanan was teaching us to hide our force signatures so if there were inquisitors. We had the hang of it now but it was hard to keep focus.

"Okay remember do your best to keep these mental shields ups." Kanan instructed. We nodded and walked to the front of the ship. We came out of hyperspace above Naboo. We went to Senator Organa ship and saw him walking to us.

"The Jaruss Family glad you could make it." Organa greeted.

"Senator Organa thank you for having us." Kanan thanked.

"Of course my friends and please just call my Bail." Bail told us.

"Okay will do." Kanan told him.

"Who are these? They were not here last time we met." He questioned.

"This is Zoe, that's Zander and he is Lucas." Hera told him while gesturing to each of us.

"The party is this way." He said then took us to a room with party food, music and a dance floor. "Enjoy yourself." He told us. We walked over to a table that he and his family were sitting at. The adults started to talk and the boys were getting food.

"You okay Zoe?" Hera asked. Placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah." I told her.

"How about you go dance or something." She suggested. Then removed her hand from my shoulder.

"Okay" I said than walked to the other side of the room. I watched the people face for a couple songs. Than a boy with bright ocean blue eyes, dusty blonde hair that was spiked a little to the side and was in a black suit walked over to me.

"What's a girl like you doing here alone?" He asked.

"My parents are good friends with Senator Bail Organa." I explained.

"I'm Alexander but, you can call me Alex for short." Alexander told me.

"Okay. I'm Zoe." I told him. Then a slow song came on.

"May I have this dance?" He asked offering his hand. I hesitated but grabbed his hand. We walked out to the dance floor he put one hand on my waist and his other hand in mine was. I placed my free hand on his shoulder and we started to dance.

"Have you ever danced before now?" I asked.

"Nope. You?" He asked.

"My brother lost a bet and had to slow dance with me when we were seven." I told him. After the song we got some punch.

"Do you want to see some thing cool?" Alexander asked.

"Sure why not." I told him. We walked for a while we were at the boat dock.

"Why are we here?" I asked. He tilted my head up to look at the stars. They were beautiful twinkling up in the sky.

"That's why." He answered. I smiled in happiness.

"This was definitely worth the wait." I said.

"Yeah." He agreed but, he sounded sad. No depressed.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I don't want tomorrow to come I have work." He said but I could tell there was more.

"What's wrong with your work?" I asked.

"The Empire is not a happy place. I'm not proud of what I do." He said. I wasn't going to push him with it so I laid off. In all truth I forgot about him being an Imperial and I forgot I was at a Imperial celebration. "I should get you back to your family." He said snapping me out of my thoughts. Almost everyone was gone by the time we got back he said good bye out side of the building and gave each other com numbers. I walked in side and saw Hera and the guys waiting for me.

"Zoe! I'm so glad your okay!" Hera shouted then hugged me.

"I'm fine. Let's go." I said. We got back to the base Hera and Kanan went to hand in the information. I got in my pajamas and got in bed. I stared at the ceiling thinking of Alex.

  Alexander's POV

I looked at my helmet and then sat it down. I looked at the wall. I had a crush on a girl I met less than four hours ago. I'm an inquisitor in training I can't have a girlfriend. I have to go after shock 3 soon. I can't let Zoe find out. And with that I fell asleep with Zoe in my mind.
