Getting Better and Messages

  This is about a three weeks after the last chapter.

   Evie's POV

I was taking Zoe some art supplies so she wasn't horribly board. Stella was also with me we got to her door and nocked. I knew most of the crew was here so they would answer quickly.

"Oh, hey guys!" Achen greeted happily.

"Hi!" We said as he guided us in. I set the supplies down and looked across the room. Zoe was standing up with Dad holding her by her forearms. She was slowly walking she made it to the end of the room and almost back to bed before falling into Dad's arms.

"Hey, that was so much better than last time!" Hera encouraged. Mom and everyone else clapped. Zoe got sat down and groaned in frustration.

"Don't get so down, hun." Mom soothed then sat beside her.

"You'll be back on your feet soon." I reassured her.

  Zoe's POV

  I had been trying to get strength to walk. But, so far I had little to no luck. I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed.

"I hope so." I muttered.

"You'll be back up again in a few weeks. You have been reciprocating faster than expected. Almost as if there was a specific reason you are encouraged to get well." I heard a soft voice that belonged to Nora say in a spectacle  way.

"Nora, we didn't hear you come in." Dad said respectively.

"I sensed something change in the force." Nora said cutting to the chase.

"What did you sense?" Kanan asked.

"It wasn't a disturbance, yet was not a good thing." Nora explained.

"That's why your here?" Stella asked.

"Yes, did either of you guy sense it." Nora said.

"No." We answered. I had a suspicion on what was going on and what Nora was sensing.

"The force seemed to be poking Zoe. Almost like something or someone is trying to get her attention." Nora said looking to me.

"Do you know why?" I asked.

"Sadly not quite yet. I will get to the bottom of this I promise." Nora reassured everyone but, me. If this is what I think it is I want it to stay anonymous.

"Thank you, we appreciate it highly." Kanan said graciously. Nora left and everyone looked at me, Kanan, Dad, Zander and Stella.

"Zoe." Mom said scoldingly.

"What!? I didn't do anything!?" I defended myself. Everyone else laughed and I glared.

"Come on guys. No need to rub it in." Lucas joked. I started to get fed up so, I used the force to push him to the ground making him yelp in surprise.

"Okay kids lets go. Night Zoe com us if you need anything okay." Dad said as Mom and Hera rounded them up. Kanan gave me his casual two finger salute left with Zeb and Chopper.

"I will, I love you Dad." I said.

"Night sweetheart, I love you too." Dad said then left. I sighed in relief and laid down. People had been in here no stop and I was finally alone. I grabbed my com and saw I had multiple messages. One from a friend of mine named, Gigi. Her parents were Mart and Gootie of Iron Squadron. I clicked on it and let it play.

"Hello Zoe, I heard what happened not long ago. I'm not sure how you have been back for three weeks and I'm just finding it out. I'm on Endor right now and will visit as soon as we get home." Gigi said on the message. I smiled at my best friend's words. I had a quite a few from Alexander! I clicked to hear one.

"Oh my force how do you go,' Hey Zoe! I know I almost killed you but would you like to go out with me!' I'm such an idiot! I hope she is okay." The message played. I was aware Alex didn't know his com was recording and sending by the way he way talking. The message was sent five weeks ago, I have been here for six weeks and was out for two. Meaning, I was in a coma at the time. I clicked on one that was sent a few hours after the last one.

"Zoe, look first I want to let you know I am open to any hurtful comments. I should had have paid more attention to what you look like. I just want to make sure you okay." The message played. I clicked on one from four weeks ago. I clicked on that one next.

"Zoe! I'm starting to get scared. Are you okay? Did your crew make it back to the Rebel Base? Are you getting better? Do you need more medical supplies? Please call me back." I had a few tears in my eyes that I wiped away.

"Zoe it's been three weeks sense you were rescued. I totally get it if you want to dump me. I also understand if you are ignoring me. I promise you this: I can never forgive myself. I will always love you." The message played. I felt a hot tear run down my face and on to my chest.

"Four  full weeks! Zoe I am flipping out here! I need to hear your sweet voice, listen to my favorite song of your harmonized laugh! I am begging you to pick up! I feel so guilty! This is driving me crazy! Please I need to see you! Please I'm falling apart!" It played. I choked out a sob and ran my fingers through my hair. I clicked on a message from last week.

"Zoe this is my last plea. Come back to me. Every night I will wait at your Dad's old communions tower I will do this for another month. Then if you don't want anything to do with me, I will never come close to you or your Rebel cell again. I just want you to know I love you so much. You don't know how bad I feel about this. Please Zoe Violet Bridger, forgive me. That or at least let me know your alive. Please." More tears streamed down my face. I knew Alex was the one poking me with the force. I have a drive to recover: I had to meet him at my Dad's com tower.
