jungkook's point of view

after messaging ji yeon, i felt uneasy. i felt as if she was going to do something bad towards hye rin after making my feelings clear to her. "kook-ah, what's up with you? you've been staring at your phone ever since we finished everything off from our schedule for today. is something going on?" namjoon hyung asked in concern as the leader of the group. "naaaah, he probably just got a new girlfriend and he's currently chatting her now." jimin hyung jokingly said to make namjoon hyung's mind to be at ease.

without saying anything, i put my coat and my mask on. "kookie-ah! i was just kidding!" shouted jimin hyung. i waited for a cab to come but the road was completely empty. jaywalkers started to go back and fourth. i decided to call an uber and waited for it to arrive. as i was waiting, i called hye rin to see if she was alright but.. there was no answer at all. my mind started panicking and cold sweat started to roll down from my forehead. i was worried sick about hye rin.

taehyung's point of view

"why did you have to joke right at that moment? he wouldn't be looking so serious at his phone if it was his girlfriend. you know that he's the sweet type of guy." namjoon hyung scolded jimin. "well.. maybe he had gotten into an argument with his girlfriend?" jimin scratched his back until jin hyung joined their conversation. "paboya, jungkook doesn't have a girlfriend."

"what if there's really something going on?" namjoon hyung leaned in as if they were agents in a movie, having a secret squad talk. "i'll go check on him so stop acting like james bond." i chuckled in amusement as i went back to my room to get changed into thicker clothing along with my mask.

as soon as i was done, i went down to the lobby, only to see jungkook waiting for something or someone to arrive. the road seemed empty and when an uber arrived in front of him, there was an incoming taxi from the same way. i got into the cab and told the driver to follow the uber in front of us.

the taxi stopped moments later. i paid the driver and got off from the cab. jungkook was running towards an elegant apartment which had lots of people waiting at the lobby. i followed him from behind. i sensed something familiar but couldn't get it right into my mind.

"wait, isn't this where g-four's dorm is at?" i whispered to myself, finally guessing what seemed familiar to me.

jungkook went inside the elevator and it stopped right at the ninth level of the apartment. "oh? it's g-four's dorm level.. what's he doing there? is he there to meet hye rin?" i pressed the 'up' button and waited for the lift to come back down to the lobby as the other lift was out of order.

the lift door opened and saw someone familiar. "is she one of the g-four members?" i whispered to myself once again. i went inside the elevator and pressed the ninth level. as i was at the seventh level, i heard people shouting. "ae min-ah, go and call ceo yoon and tell her about this. quick!"

i reached my selected destination but as the lift door opened, i saw jungkook carrying a girl in bridal style. i looked at the girl and realized that it was hye rin. i stood up straight, alerted from hye rin's wounds. "what happened to her?!" i approached hye rin and held her hand tightly. "hye rin-ah, can you hear me?! hye rin-ah.. aish. yah, tell me what on earth happened to her!" i asked one more time.

"ji yeon.. bang ji yeon pushed her off the staircase." jungkook stated. "ji yeon? you mean the girl who was wearing a beige coat, has a dark brown wavy hair and that.. what else.. uhm whatever but was it that girl?" the leader of g-four, hee ra, asked. "yeah." jungkook nodded. "what the.. if i just didn't let her inside of our dorm.. this wouldn't have happened.." "what do you mean by that? you let her in? why?" the tallest member named soo yeon questioned the leader. "she said that she was hye rin's close friend ever since high school and plus, she seemed friendly.. mian." hee ra apologized.

ji yeon? but why did she do-- right, the only reason was just simply jungkook. oh yeah, at the lobby! that was ji yeon! aish, it has been so long that i couldn't completely recognize her. if only i recognized her, i would've caught her right at that instant.

people who were waiting at the first floor turned out to be g-four's fans. as soon as they saw g-four's members, they ran towards our direction. "WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR HYERINNIE?" "OH NO!" "WHAT ARE BTS' V AND JUNGKOOK DOING HERE?" "IS SHE OKAY?" "EONNI!" their fans noisily chanted in concern.

since there were no security around, we had to get past the fans on our own which was a hard thing. "PLEASE GIVE US WAY SO THAT HYE RIN WOULD IMMEDIATELY BE UNDER TREATMENT!" ae min shouted. the fans started giving way as they took photos and videos. the ambulance arrived and jungkook gently placed hye rin on the bed. the other g-four members and i hopped inside the ambulance and wished for the best outcome of hye rin.

"anyway, why did that ji yeon girl push hye rin off?" ae min asked jungkook but jungkook seemed distracted because of hye rin and her pale face. i turned to ae min and told her that it was probably because of a personal issue that only the four of us, jungkook, ji yeon, hye rin and i, know. ae min and soo yeon pouted along with a nod upon the reason that i have given.

as we arrived, the ambulance door was opened quickly and hye rin was being pushed to the intensive care unit for treatmeant. she was being checked for any further wounds, brain damage or anything related to that but fortunately none of those were stated.

the doctor came towards us and we all stood up to ask him how hye rin was. "how's she, doc?" i asked. "she's fine now but the thing is that she has a leg fracture. did she get hurt from dance training or did she fall down from somewhere?" the doctor said. "she fell down from the staircase, doc." soo yeon answered.

"oh, okay. knowing that she's a pop performer, it might be hard for her to dance for at least a month so i suggest that she'd get discharged in three days and let her rest or she can continue her schedules excluding out anything related to using her legs.. well unless something goes wrong then she'll have to stay for further check-ups." the doctor notified us while hee ra went to talk to ceo yoon who was waiting at hye rin's room.

"for now, you, soo yeon and ae min can go home. i'll get securities to guard hye rin's room." ceo yoon said as she went out from hye rin's room. she stopped for a moment and looked at both of me and jungkook. "well, well, look who we have here. two youngest members of bangtan sonyeondan from big hit entertainment. i heard that the two of you helped on bringing hye rin to the hospital. thank you but i can tell you that i have nothing in mind in exchange of your deed so don't ever expect anything from me even though hye rin favors your group so much as high school classmates." she crossed her arm and walked out while jungkook and i bowed in respect.

my phone beeped continuously due to the notifications. gee, i thought i turned the notifications off. i checked my phone and my fans kept commenting about g-four. especially hye rin.

"they commented about hye rin on your account too, didn't they?" jungkook suddenly got me on guard. i nodded in reply and as i was about to speak, someone shouted both of our names worriedly.

"KIM TAEHYUNG! JEON JUNGKOOK!"
