General POV:
As the bell rang for the last time for the day, Alvin walked out of class, cheering to himself that school was finally over. Winking coolly at the girls in his class, he hated that he had to put up a false, bold front just to hide his true, sentimental side. Lifting his blue eyes one last time to cast his eyes at his "arch-rival" (who glared at him) he just simply trotted away with his brothers.
Brittany's POV
As the red-clad chipmunk walked away, my glare softened to a subtle smile. It was hilarious how we were both the most out going and quarrelsome because of our huge egos, but yet we were too embarrassed to express openly we truly loved each other deeply. It would be too much for our siblings to take in if our secret was revealed. It was getting difficult to control our emotions, and resulting to drama often saved us our face. After one of our dates, we almost spilt our secret when Simon asked where we were been. It was hilarious to see Alvin struggling to think of something, before his next remark ended up with him being grounded for a week...
Snapping back to reality, Jeanette was tapping me on the shoulder with a concerned look on her face. "Are you okay, Brittany?" she frowned. " What's not Ok? Is it my hair? Or my face? Is there anything on it?" I put on a worried face and felt around randomly. I simply laughed quietly at my comeback. Jeanette merely sighed and continued walking.
4 hours later....
Alvin's POV:
After a long boring two hours of dumb math homework, I dove right into "Mystic Mountain" with my brothers. Globb was rampaging my castle and both my castle and him were at critical health. Just then, Dave came in. Boom! Globb swung his axe at the castle for the final time and destroyed my castle. Great! Just What I Needed!
"Fellas! Time for bed! Doesn't mean that tomorrow's Saturday you can game all night!" Dave hollered. Simon and Theodore simply sighed and turned off their computers, but I simply just continued playing. "Alvin! Turn off the computer now." Dave raised his voice by a decibel. "Alvin. ALVINNN!!!!!!" Dave yelled his signature cross country yell, and I simply responded by grumbling and logging off. Climbing into my bed, I simply flopped back as Dave bid us good night. Sinking into my soft bed, I welcomed the blackness that overwhelmed me...
A Few Hours Later....
I was jolted awake by my phone alarm under my pillow. 1 am precisely. Dave and my brothers would have been asleep by then. I slipped out of my bed and tiptoed out of my bed, past Simon and out the bedroom door. To my horror, I saw Dave working on his script downstairs. I had no option left. I slipped back into my room, grabbed my shirt and pants and changed out of my pyjamas, grabbed my shoes and gingerly climbed onto the tree hanging outside our bedroom and over the fence to wait for Brittany....
