Simon's POV:

Together with Theodore, we slipped out of the bedroom and started following Alvin from a distance. Alvin had crossed over the fence and was dressed in his white tuxedo. Knowing Alvin, I thought he was going to go for some midnight party or something like that. Instead, he walked over to the Chipette's treehouse and stood at the base of the steps, his body rigid. Theodore was wondering what Alvin was doing and was about to rush over, but I signalled for him not to do that. We continued watching, peering from behind the bush.....

10 minutes later:

I was about to rush up to Alvin and tell him what on earth was going on, when out of the blue, Brittany emerged from the tree house, dressed as formally as Alvin. Both flashed each other broad grins. She walked down the stairs slowly, took Alvin's hand and kissed him tenderly, before the both of them strolled away. Both me and Theodore mirrored confused glances and mild amusement. As stealthy as ninjas, we rushed up towards the back of the Chipette's treehouse, and almost ran head first towards Jeanette and Eleanor.

" Did you guys see that? What on earth is going on? It's like the whole earth turned upside down! Alvin- and Brittany? The two fight and squabble everyday, and there is no end to their competitiveness!" Jeanette exclaimed. "Alvin, I have never seen him like that before. He was so quiet and the total opposite of himself. Something tells me he is leading a double life, when he is actually extremely sentimental, but too shy to show it, so he acts up and pretends to be egoistic." Simon whispered. "It's going to be a long night guys..., lets follow them and see what on earth is really going on...." Eleanor cuts Simon of before he could utter another word.

Guys. I am so so sorry that this chapter is short, but I have lots of school work I have yet to complete and I had to type this in 20 minutes. I promise that the next chapter will be longer, but I have to run. Recess is almost over. See Ya! Thanks for all the love and support of my book and me!
