The time for supper meant I had to move again, this time a bit farther than the railing, downstairs in what was called the galley. I had to catch my breath on the way up, so we were the last to arrive. The place was packed as day shift and night shift met.

Will had saved the Captain a seat, but upon seeing me he got up and got another chair as he said, "I thought you were going to drop her off?"

"Thank you," I whispered as Jack helped me into the seat closest to the wall and he sat he sat beside me, intent to keep me to himself. I don't think I like that thought. Not at all...

"At least some of us 'ave manners." I giggled as his whiskers tickled my ear, the beads creating a clinking sound as they swung from his chin in two strands.

As everyone ate, they told stories, mainly of how Mr. Turner and Captain met. I just loved how they interrupted eachother all the time, it was fascintating.

When the meal was over, they were still talking, but I wasn't listening anymore, being exhausted and stiff. A monkey suddenly jumped out of nowhere, as I set my head on the table, and scared me awake as it started climbing on me."AAAAAH!" I was dumped unceremoniously onto the floor as I lost balance on the bench and the monkey jumped away. I couldn't breathe for a couple seconds that seemed like hours. I heard a gunshot and someone scooped me up, grumbling about stupid monkies.

Before I knew it I was placed upon a bed as I managed to drag some precious air into my lungs, "Oooow." I moaned.

"Gonna live?" He asked, not even looking at me, but refilling his pistol.

I winced, "I think so..." I watched him as I coughed, "Did you kill it?"

"I shot it."

"That doesn't answer my question."

"No, I didn't kill it." He sneered- almost pouted like a child.  He looked at me, my sunken in eyes and slight sunburn. "You should get some rest Luv."

"And you?" I asked suspiciously.

"I'll sleep when things are settled." He paused as he put a bullet into the pistol, turning to face me. He smirked, the gun leveled to his face and pointed to the cieling. "I knew yeh'd warm up to me.

I rolled my eyes,"In your dreams, Captain."

"Yes you are." I looked at him sharply, noticing the mischevious twinkle in his eyes as he joined me on the bed. We both busted up laughing- even in this time period that was lame.

"Oh- oh! Don't make me laugh! It hurts!" Tears poured out of my eyes as I clutched my aching ribs with one hand and the other was using Jack to balance as the ship rocked.

I woke to thunder and lightening, the bo- ship rocking violently enough to dump me on the floor. A wave broke through the doors, the freezing water immediately causing me to shiver. Another wave caused glass to break and me to scream in terror as I was rolled around as the sihp tried to stay afloat. Before I knew it I was outside, coughing up sea water.

I was almost dumped into the ocean, only for me to catch the railing. I screamed again from the pain in my wrists as I hung on for dear life, my shrieking was drowned out as another wave crashed down and rolled me onto the deck. Someone pulled me up roughly before going on their way, pushing me towards the helm. I coughed and sputtered, clinging to the railing as I made my way to Jack, who was fighting  to keep the wheel steady.

Another wave beat down on us and when I picked myself back up, I could barely see Jack- in fact.... I couldn't see him.The wheel was spinning out of control, which meant we were as well. I couldn't find Jack and every one else was trying to get back up from the oncoming waves. I grabbed the wheel after a moment's hesitation and nearly broke myself in half. I screamed, using my legs to brace myself and locked my arms until my very muscles were screaming.

I saw a rope to tie down the wheel with, but I coudln't move. Another wave knocked me down, solving my problem. I felt like I was stuck in a rinse cycle until I was once again knocked to the railing. I had no doubt I was soaked like a sewer rat, but I couldn't find it in me to care. I heard Jack yelling orders as he fought to get back to the wheel. I hugged the base of the railing as another wave beat down on us, using my arms more than my hands- which I couldn't really reel anymore. "Angel!" Jack yelled in my ear, causing me to jump. He pulled on me. "Angel Let go!"

My eyes widened, "Look out!" A monster wave was headed straight for us and I swear I saw Neptune riding it with a sadistic smile on his face. Jack Braced me and hept his hands tight on mine.

"Hold on!" No, really?

The wave broke and I was pelted with water and salt, and thrown into Jack's chest, I felt the air rush out of his lungs. He hurried back to the wheel, dragging me with him as he coughed and sputtered almost as much as I did. I have to say, I kinda smiled cuz I kinda figured he'd be the one looking like this was nothing but an april shower. He threw me a rope and told me to tie myself in as he battled for control of the ship once more. I saw another wave as I stuggled- only to have Will come up to me and help me. "Brace yourself!" He managed to yell out as he pushed me against the wall. When the wave passed Will went somewhere else, how he could hear the yelling of orders was beyond me. and I zig zagged over to Jack, finding us both smiling. As insane as it sounded, I was kind of having fun- not that being thrown into railings and walls was fun, nor drowning every few seconds- but it was just the rush and the fact that we were still afloat on this angry sea was just ....satisfying. I looked over at Jack to see that he was smiling as well. I was hit sideways by another wave and only managed to stay on board because of the rope. I layed there for a few seconds, coughing and gasping for oxygen that wasn't attatched to any hydrogen.

That seemed to be the last really big wave as the storm eased up. I was pulled into a sitting postion and lightly had my face slapped. "Oi! you alive?" I pushed the hands away to find Jack smirking at me.

"Barely," I moaned, pulling the shirt away from my skin a bit since it was now.... clear. The wrappings on my wrists were soaked and my hands were as white as my shirt had been- if not whiter.

"Master Turner!"

"Aye, Cap'n?" He grunted, rolling a barrel back into it's proper place.

"Take Ms. Ravens here back into the cabin." I was picked up, my back was on fire, but I didn't have to feel it long as darkness swept over me like a wave. (pun intended)
