I woke up the next morning to a knock on my door. I got up quickly and head towards the door. I opened it and saw Jadah standing there." Hey come in" I said stepping to the side for Jadah to come in. We walked to the kitchen and sat down at the table." Karla what are we going to do"." We are going to get your son"." But how"." We are going to look for him and they're going to give it to you"." Yes I know but what about my job"." Jadah forget about your job right now. Think about your child". Jadah shook her head and I could see tears in her eyes." We'll get through this Jadah. You'll have your son". I got up to go makes us some coffee." But there's one problem"." What's that"." Who's going with us"." What do you mean who's going with us. Jadah we are free"." Yes here in Spain we are free but in Pakistan we are not". She said while I sat down with cups of coffee. I hadn't realize that in Pakistan girls wereng free but we had to get Jadah son." We'll find a way okay. Right now we just have to talk to dris". We finished the coffee and head to yamilla. When we got there we head towards Dris office." Mexican girl I think you should go I'm so nervous that even my eyebrows are shaking" Jadah said stopping and looking at me." Don't worry his problem is with me. I got into a fight with him yesterday...let's see how it goes"." But Karla I don't want to stop having a job"." I know me neither" I told Jadah. I looked at her and saw she was looking at someone. I turned around to see who she was looking at and it was Santiago. He looked at me and sat down on a bar stole ordering a drink." I'm not going to traffic drugs no more if your interested". He said." Ah so what did governor Ivan want"." He wanted me to traffic something else"." What's that something else"." People"." People? Really you're going to traffic people now"." Are you happy"." Happy? First you traffic drugs and now you're going to traffic people! You make me sick!" I said walking away from him." Where are you going!"." Dont touch me! Jadah make sure you tell the guards to not let this man get near me" I said about to walk away before Santiago stopped me again." Ka-"." I said don't touch me" I looked into Santiago's eyes. I walked away from him and head to dris office. I didn't find him there so I looked all over for him till I saw him come out the bathroom." Dris I need to talk to you"." Did you come to apologize for the argument you made me yesterday"." No I didn't"." Okay then what is then"." I came her to ask you if I could go with Jadah to Pakistan"." What"." You gave Jadah permission to go right"." Yes"." Well I want to go with her"." What no. Is that how you apologize. You're not going anywhere"." What no. I'm going to go"." Okay fine go but when you come back you have no job and nowhere to stay. The same thing to you" he said pointing at Jadah." Fine lets see if you can find anybody else that knows how to count your dirty money. Let's go Jadah" I left dris and I walked out with Jadah. We headed home and sat outside for a while. It was really hot outside so Jadah went to go get her phone and a fan." Karla. Im going to call my son". She sat down next to me and started to Dial. She put the phone on her hear and started to speak. I really couldn't understand what she was saying because she was talking in her language. She looked worried when she hung up the phone." What happen"." They didn't let me talk to him. They said he was alseep"." Don't worry. He probably was asleep"." But he usually waits at this time for me to call him"." You know how kids are they'll fall asleep whenever"." Oh god Karla I don't know what I do without you" I gave her a smile." Karla tell me everything is going to go alright. Tell me one last time and I'll believe you". I took jadah's hand" everything is going to be fine. Everything is going to be fine Jadah I promise". She shook her head slowly. We got up and we went up to go to sleep. I went to my room and walked in. I leaned against the door when I closed it thinking what had happened today with Santiago. I walked to go hang up the keys. I took out a cigarette and turned the radio on. I light up the cigarette and head over to the counter. I fake my tequila and drink some. I look up and see the picture of Armando and I . I couldn't believe my life has changed so much. I sit down and remember that lovely night I had with Santiago. I just sat there and though about that night till I got up and went to bed.

The next morning I woke up and I started to pack my stuff in the boxes. When I finished with the box I took to the living room. I put the box down on the table and Jadah walks in." Hey are you almost done"."yes I just finished with this box"." Okay me too. Well I really don't know why we're packing if we don't know where we are going after this"." Jadah everything is going to be alright"." Here I brought you this" Jadah handed me one if those things that you have to put around her head."why do I need this for"." You have to put it on. So they don't see us. Anyways it's part of the religion"." But why me I'm mexican"." Yes you dress like that makes them think your a slut. Just put it on like this". Jadah started to tell me how to put it on when Gloria came in." Are you almost leaving Mexican girl"." Yes Gloria. I told you that when I left I would hand you the key now leave ". I said trying to make her leave." Okay just make sure you take your gallego. He's outside at the stairs. He looks dead". I push Gloria out the way and head down stairs to find Santiago lying down with a bottle in his hand. I pick him up and his head down on my lap." Santiago are you alright"." Karla yyou were right. The little kid died"." Wwhat are you talking about"." The kid he fell to the water and he drowned I looks for him but I couldn't find him. I'm just a piece of shit"." Everything is going to be alright"." I-I need you" he grabbed my face and pulled in for kiss. I couldn't resist those lips so I kissed him back. He part away and hug him telling him everything was going to be okay. Jadah helped me get him up to my room to get him comfortable. We got up and we headed towards the bathroom." Here I'm going to make him shower"." Okay I'll go make him some coffee" Jadah said leaving to the kitchen. I was trying to take his clothes of but he wouldn't let me. He kept mumbling about something. I couldn't quiet understand him. I kept telling him to let me get him undressed but then he thought I wanted to have sex. This guy was unbelievable." Santiago your going to hate me for this" I turn the shower head on and it the water was cold. He finally shut up. He stepped out the shower completely freezing and he hugged me trying to make me get in. Jadah came with the coffee put he would take it. I pushed him of me and headed to the kitchen. " what are we going to do" Jadah asked. " I don't know but we have to go"." Where are you going" I heard Santiago ask and of course Jadah told him." Well I'm going with you"." What no"." Yes I'm not leaving you two alone in dangerous place anyways you guys need a man to be with". He was right we did need one. I guess Santiago was coming with us now to Pakistan.
