" I finished it already" I told Bethany." So you finished reading the burning plain?"." Yes and I didn't understand a thing but I sure felt it. The way he uses words....I love it" I said as I sat down on the bench." It as if you traveled to a very Mexican place but at them same time a magical place. I really didn't know why this man was telling me but I just hoped he finished fast so I could leave." I started to pack the little things I had for tomorrow.

I woke up the next day to find my regular clothes by the edge. I got up and put them on. I got out and found all my friends waiting there." My friends" I said. Sandra threw herself onto me." I signed some papers and the guards handed me my jewelry. I took them out. I put on my necklace. The one that Armando's uncle gave me at Armando's birthday. Them the bracelet that Armando gave me one day when we were at the pool. Finally the ring. The ring that Santiago had given me when he proposed to me. Tears spilled out of eyes and I whipped them away. I grabbed my bag and left. I took the sticky note out and started to look for the address. When I got there it was a bar. I looked inside for someone but there was nobody." May I help you" I heard someone say." Um yes I came here to look for a job. Guisela O'farrell recommended me with you"." Oh yes. Well if you want you can start tomorrow. This is the key to your room"." Okay thanks"." You'll have to clean this place. It's 12 hours open I'll give you your first check in 2 weeks"." Alright thanks again". I got the key and went to the apartments in front the of bar. I went to my room and unpacked the little things I had. I really didn't know what to do so I just stayed in for the day. The next day I went to work. It was really hard to keep up. The bar had a lot of customers which was good for both of us. It was finally time for my boss to give me my first pay check. I went shopping for some clothes and other stuff I needed. On the weekends I would go for a walk on the beach but I did it most of the time at night. I was sitting on the sand when this boy he looked really young came towards me. I noticed he was flirting with me but I didn't work so well so I got up and left. I had promised myself to never fall in love again and I meant it.

* 1 year later *

It was another hard day at work. The bar was full with people like always. The good thing was that it was finally Friday." Can I have another drink ma'am"." Yes"." Me too please"." And me!". Good lord help me I thought. I walked over to fill someone drinks when drake my boss stopped me." Karla I need you to take this to that table over there. I got up and we left in her red car. Sure did Guisela get everything ready before she came to see me. When we got to her house it was beautiful. It was one of the most beautiful houses in Spain." I smiled at her. " Sounds good to me". She left the room and I went to sleep. I really needed it. By the morning Guisela had everything we needed. She had a biking for me and she was already wearing one. I put it on and pulled some shorts over it same with a jacket just in case." Okay so we are going to the shore line to get the boat and we'll take it from there"." Okay but are we going to eat first"." Yes after we go find the drug"." Ugh fine". We got in the car and we drove to the shore. When we got there, there was already a boat ready for us. We board the boat but there was no pilot." Guise where's the pilot"." Yea about that..."." Don't worry I'll drive"." Good" she said smiling. We were on our way to a new future. About half an hour later Guisela pointed to this cave." There!"." Okay let me get closer". I got a bit closer and I stopped the boat." Okay are you ready" Guisela said grabbing a flash light." Yes". We got off and got in the water. We swam down and to find the cave. She grabbed my hand and pulled me up to the surface. It was really dark so I turned on the flashlight." Come on" Guisela said. We got out the water and started to search." It has to be here somewhere"." I know. Imagine if some pirates came for us"." Shut up!". I looked over to Guisela and she was scared." Are you scared"." No!"." Yes you are!"." No just shut- it's right there!". She pointed with her flashlight." We found the treasure of count of monte Cristo Karla!". I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a lot of drug." Now we just have to look for someone to sell it too"." Yes but we should get out of here first" I said." You're right let's go". We left the cave and went back to the boat to get some lunch.
