Chapter 44

I was lying in bed with a mess of sheets. Harry's head was on top of my chest, sleeping. His messy curls were everywhere. I removed him off me getting dressed and heading to the kitchen. I made some tea and sat down processing last night. Harry had proposed to me and that was a big step in our relationship. I had to stop doing this. I had to quiet my job. Harry and I were getting married and now probably the both of us wanted to have children. I drank my tea when I suddenly felt like throwing up. I ran to the bathroom and knelt by the toilet throwing away what I had in my stomach. I felt two strong arms rub smoothing circles on my back. Once finished I washed myself and turned around to see Harry with a smile on his face." Why the big smile?". I asked." You know what this means right".." No I don't". I said walking out the bathroom, him close behind." You're pregnant!" He said. I stopped and turned to look at him." No...no that's not possible"." It is possible". Maybe he was right or maybe not. It was too soon. Yes, Harry and I had unprotected sex but I never ended up pregnant...yet. He took my hand and walked me over to the door. He pulled on his coat and so did I, slipping on my shoes." Let's go to the drugstore and buy you one of those things that you pee on". I rolled my eyes as I shut the door behind me. The store wasn't that far so we decided to walk. We entered the store going to the ally where the pregnant test were. We picked one out and head to the cashier. We left the store and went back home. When I opened the door I saw Oleg and Guisela. Guisela looked really upset. I placed the test behind me so Harry would hid it. " what's happen? Why are you guys here?" I asked." We have something very important to tell you". Oleg said." What is it". Oleg looked at Guisela." You tell her". Guisela looked down at the floor like if she were ashamed." Zachary..."." What about him?" She sighed." Zachary Hayes is Joey Castro"." What?" I asked confused." Zachary...well Joey is not who we think he is"." What do you mean?"." He works for the police. He's been lying to us this in tire time. He informs them about our drug transportation locations and stuff"." What!". I couldn't believe it. No wonder the police had been following us lately when we transported." You need to leave Kala" Oleg said." It's getting to dangerous for you now"." But where am I suppose to go"." Let's move to London" Harry said." That sounds great" Guisela and Oleg said." I'll move too"." But where" I asked Guisela." France. I always wanted to go to Paris"." Sounds great to me" Oleg said." When do we leave"." I suggest today"." Today?" I said." Yes today"." But-"." Today kala. Today!"." Fine Oleg". They left the apartment. Harry handed me the test and I went to the bathroom. When I did we waited for about 5 minutes." If it's positive". Harry started." We are going I raise this baby". I nodded my head. I got up and looked at the test. Positive." Harry...it's positive". He ran to me and picked me up." Yes! Yes! Yes! We are going to have baby Karla!!". He put me down and kissed me. I looked at him and he had tears of joy." We are going to be parents Karla"." I know Harry and I love the idea. That's why I decided to quiet this...to quiet my job"." Really!?"." Yes! I decided this this morning when I woke up. The thought of getting married made me think if I wanted to get married having this dangerous life and well now that there's a baby on the way more reason I should quiet my job"." I like that idea". He said. I helped him pack his stuff and we head to mine to pack. Once finished I said goodbye to everybody and headed to the airport. We got on our flight to London." You're going to love London kitten". Harry said looking out the window sitting next to me." I am. I know I am"." And our baby too". I was ready for this. A different future. A better one too.

* 4 years later *

"Mummy! Mummy". Edward, my son yelled." Yes hun" I said sitting on the couch. "Mum where's daddy". I picked Edward up and sat him on my lap. He looked just like Harry. Brown, messy curls, green eyes, everything." Daddy went to go pick up some friends of mine." Will he take long"." No. He won't". Just then Harry walked in with Guisela and stefani, her daughter. Behind them was Oleg." Karla!". Both of them said. I got up and ran over to them and hugged them both." I missed you so much"." I did too". Tears steamed down my eyes. It had been four years since the last time I saw them." And who's this little girl" I said kneeling in front of stefani." I'm stefani" she said in a sweet little voice. She walked away heading over to Edward. They shook hands and went to go play. We all sat down and talked about how our life has been for the past four years. We went through the photo albums and laughed at the funny moments we all had. Each of us shared our life's. " mummy who's this" Edward said. I looked at the picture he was pointing at. It was Jadah and I." That's Jadah...my bestFriend"." And where is she now". I sighed." She's in very wonderful place...where she takes care of all us"." Oooh! And where's that mummy"." Ed. Why don't you go show Stefani your drawings" Harry said." Okay". We put the albums away and turned on the tv. Guisela sat next to Oleg and I with Harry. We watched a movie when the news came on." Officers are still today looking for Karla Mendoza, the queen of the south. People say they saw her recently in Tokyo, Japan". They showed pictures of supposedly who they thought was me." Funny isn't it" Oleg said." Yea it is" I said." They have no clue where you are and they still talk about you" Harry said." It's been four years. Four amazing years" I said looking up at Harry, my husband. Guisela gave Oleg a kiss, saying I love you to each other." I love you Harry"." I love you too kitten. Forever". He kissed me, passionately." Officers are still going to look for her no matter what" the lady said." We'll keep trying cause you're never going too" I said. Edward and Stefani came running down the stairs jumping onto our arms. Edward had to be careful since little Darcy was on the way. Harry placed his hand on my 6 month belly and kissed it. We all watched the movie, like a happy family we were now. Everything was over and done. Everything i went through was part of the past. I was happy, I had my husband and my two children. What else did I want when I had everything now. I had a family and this time it was forever.
