I walked out yamilla finding the girls waiting for me. Soraya and Sheila said hi and hugged me. I took them to dinner and we catches up on everything we missed. That's when I remembered that I had to offer something to Jadah." So um I have to tell you something...well more like offer" I said looking at Jadah." What's that"." Well i want to make your dream come true. I want to take you guys to come live with me in the peninsula. You and Jordan". Jadah starred at me in shook. I noticed the tears coming to her eyes." Jadah say something"." I would like that!"." So that's a yes?"." Yes!"." Great. I'm happy you accepted"." But why are you doing this"." Because you are like my family and I want you to be close to me". She smiled at me." So when do we leave with you"." I'll let you know okay"." Okay" she picked up her cup and we cheered. I excused myself from the table to go to the restroom to call Ivan. I had to negotiate with him now that I was with Oleg and we were going to go into the hash business. I dialed his number on my phone

Ivan: hello

Me: Ivan?

Ivan: Karla! How are you!?

Me: I'm good Ivan and you?

Ivan: I'm find thanks. So why the call for?

Me: well I wanted to negotiated with you and I wonder if you were interested

Ivan: any negotiating with you is very interesting

Me: hahahahah okay Ivan. So can we meet up tomorrow at the beach

Ivan: oh and don't forget marcel is coming too

I got out the restroom and walked back to the table." I'm back"." What took you so long" Sheila asked." There was a lot of girls in there"." Ooh!"." Yeaa". We continued eating. After we finished we payed and went home. I stayed with Jadah in her apartment. I slept on the couch which was the only thing she had available for me. I really didn't mind at least I had somewhere to sleep. The next morning we got everything ready to go to the beach. They settled down and I told them I would be right back. I went to go look for Ivan. I saw him sitting down with marcel at a table. I walked over to them and greet them." Hello Karla" Ivan said planting a kiss on my cheek." I see that beauty is still your best companion"." Hahah thanks Ivan". I looked over to marcel." Hello Mexican" he said trying to hug me." Hello marcel" I said serious and sat down." We don't have it but we can get it" marcel said."but I can see you're going to mess with is so I'm leaving I go things to do" marcel was about to get up when I opened the case revealing all of the money." 800 euros the other half is within the transportation". I saw marcel sit back down and Ivan smirking at me. I knew he liked the negotiation just by the look on his face." Where did you get all that money" marcel asked. I seriously couldn't stand marcel." I rather do business with you. Honestly this man disgusted me" I said looking at Ivan." Look I'm offering you a long term business. This is just the first shipment. I'll transport the merchandise, you put it were I ask." Do you stay with any of the merchandise"." Never. I'm not interested in it" I said." And I don't get paid in drugs. I'm all about the money. And most importantly I have two conditions"." What conditions?"." I want you to get lalo out of that Moroccan jail and I want Spanish citizen ship for jadah's son" I said looking at them." Otherwise there's no deal".

I was laying down on my towel taking a tan. Jadah came and lied next me." I'm terrified about my Jordan. I'm scared he'll find out about my past and leave me"." You don't have to worry about that Jadah. Mostly now that we're leaving"." I know" she said smiling at me." Karla where did you get the money. When you got out of jail you had nothing"." Jadah there's questions you really shouldn't ask me okay" I said not trying to sound rude. I just didn't want her to find out about it. It killed me not telling her but it was the best. " okay. I won't ask" she said smiling. I was going to tell her something but then my phoned ringed. It was ivan.

Me: hello

Ivan: hello karla

Me: hi what happen

Ivan: I did what you told me. Lalo is out of jail. You can go pick him up tomorrow early in the morning

Me: really! Thank you so much Ivan. I knew you wouldn't fail me

Ivan: your welcome

I hanged up and looked at Jadah." You're not going to believe this"." What? What happen"." Let's call Sheila and soraya". I called them over and I stood up facing the three of them." Tomorrow morning lalo gets released from jail" I said on the verge of tears." OMG!" All of them yelled. Soraya hugged me really right." Thank you so much!" She said crying. Wee all sat down and talked about what he'd do when he got out and stuff but what I didn't know was that lalo couldn't talk. Basically because they had cut his tongue off. I was sick to my stomach when soraya told me. I couldn't believe they souls do something like that. Poor lalo I felt bad for him. How was he suppose to communicate now. I couldn't take him with me. Id thinking about something soon. Right now I just wanted to have fun with my friends.

The next morning we got ready and headed to go pick up lalo. I decide that I would go in and pick him up. Soraya was nervous to see him and so was I. I hadn't seen him in a long time and I honestly didn't know how he look. I went in and there he was waiting for me. He looked such in a bad state I felt my heart shatter a bit. He was weak, skinny and all dirty. He didn't shave his have at all. He had dark circles around his eyes, mouth all dry and well he couldn't talk. At all. I toll his hand and walked him out slowly. I heard a gasp and Sheila, soraya and Jadah got all wide eyes when they saw him. Sheila and Jadah turned around a bit not being able to look at him but soraya walked to him and gentle pulled him into a hug. She cried on his shoulder and lalo just stood there not saying anything...if he could. Not one tear. As if he was dead. I knew that lalo didn't like us seeing him like that but what could he do, that's how they left him. Soraya offered to take care of him till he got better. I know why she did it, cause she loved him. She'd quiet her job for and get a new one. I let her stay with him. Helping them out sending them money often. I was leaving today because Oleg needed me so I had too. Jadah would wait till I told her when is come to get her. Giving her time to pack and stuff. I took soraya and lalo home and left them some money to start off with. The things you would do for love, I thought as I left and headed to the airport. I wondered if I would ever fall in love again.
