After everything that has happened with poor Cisco, Caitlin invites the team out for a drink.
Caitlin: So hey guys, do you want to get a drink after work? I thought maybe we could all take a load off because of this whole Savitar thing.
Wally: I apparently can't get drunk anymore so that's a no go, but maybe next time though, thanks.
Barry: Well, I'll come and Iris will too.
Iris: Yeah, I could really use a drink right now.
Cisco: I guess I don't want to be a Grinch, so alright yeah I'm coming.
Caitlin smiles and they all head off to a local bar. They all sit down and order drinks.
Barry: Wow, look at that, we're the original team. It hasn't been just the four of us in a while.
Cisco: Yeah, but you don't have to get all sappy about it.
Iris: (jokingly) I thought you said you didn't want to be the Grinch, Cisco?
Cisco rolls his eyes and everyone laughs. They talk and order another round of drinks, but the tension between Cisco and Barry is still there. Iris and Caitlin know that they really need to talk their issues out again.
Caitlin: Hey Iris, do you want to come to the bathroom with me?
Iris: Sure, yeah.
They get up and head towards the bathroom in order to leave Barry and Cisco alone.
Barry: What's with girls and going to the bathroom together all the time?
Cisco: Well, Hermione got attacked by a troll when she went to the bathroom alone.
They both laugh at their attempts to lighten the mood, but it's really not working.
Barry: I know that I've been a terrible friend lately-
Cisco: Hey, just because I'm drunk and you're not, doesn't mean I'll forgive you for what you did.
Barry's face drops.
Cisco: But, with everything that has happened recently- aliens, Savitar- they all made me realize how easy it is to alter with time and how I need to enjoy what I have in front of me. So, I may not forgive you, but I'll try to let it go.
Barry smiles as a thanks, and the two of themand Cisco hug.
Barry: I won't screw with time again. New year, new me?
Cisco: I don't believe that for a second.
They both laugh and the girls come back to see that their little plan had worked.
