An Untold Story

"Daks?" a voice called out and Mika knew it was Ara.

"Eto na pala yung hiniram ko nung nakaraan." Ara said entering the room to return the shirt she borrowed. "Thank you."

"Welcome." Mika replied and put the shirt in her closet.

Afterwards, Mika noticed Ara is still in the room staring at her.

"Ano Daks natutulala ka naman sa ganda ko?" Mika goaded

"Hmmm. Pwede na din." Ara playfully replied and Mika showed her fist at her which she just laughed off. "Pero Daks may tanong ako."

"Wala akong pera." Mika non-hesitantly replied as she sat at her bed taking her phone.

"Oo alam ko. Ikaw na kuripot." Ara smirks

"Hindi ako kuripot marunong lang magtipid." Mika said sticking her tongue out while her gaze is on her phone.

"Sabi mo e. Pero di yun itatanong ko." Ara said and sat beside Mika.  "Ano meron dun sa t-shirt na hihiramin ko dapat."

Mika suddenly froze but recovered immediately by opening her Twitter so she could fake scanning it.

I knew it. Nakatunog tong si Daks. Kalma ka lang, Ye. Mika thought

"Anong t-shirt?" Mika tried to feign innocence

"Yung red shirt na may Mickey Mouse." Ara said

"Ahh. Yun. Ano meron dun?" Mika asked nonchalant

"Ikaw nga tinatanong ko e." Ara said rolling her eyes.

Mika faced Ara while acting like she's confused with what Ara is saying.

"Malay ko ba kung ano meron dun ikaw nag-brought up nun e." Mika said eyes furrowed.

"Ano nga kasi meron dun. Nung hihiramin ko bigla mong kinuha." Ara said frustrated and Mika knew she had to give a believable excuse cause Ara surely won't stop questioning her.

"Kasi nga, Daks. Syempre di ba kikitain mo si KTin nun? Mas bagay sayo yung t-shirt na pinahiram ko kesa dun." Mika calmly told Ara silently praying Ara would buy her excuse.

Ara narrowed her eyes at her. "Ikaw, Daks ha. Baka naman naglilihim kana sakin ah."

"Sus. Daks, sayo pa ba eh lakas mo makatunog ng mga ganyan e." Mika scoffs

Ara remaind unfazed eyeing her intently.

"Teka gutom ka ba? Sabi ko sayo wag kang nagpapagutom tingnan mo kung ano-ano naiisip mo. Tsk." Mika said shaking her head and put a hand on Ara's shoulder."Pano ka na lang tatangkad nyan?"

"Heh! Hindi ako gutom." Ara said and removed Mika's arm on her. "Bahala ka nga dyan di na kita sasamahan sa National."

"Huy! Daya mo!" Mika pouted but
Ara stood up determined to leave.

Ara was about to walk out of the door when Mika shouted.
"Matampuhing bata!"

"Bakulaw!" Ara shouted back and closed the door
