Up All Night

"Matulog agad, Aly. Kailangan mo yan para glowing ka sa first date mo bukas."

Gretch teasingly said to Alyssa as she escorts the latter to her room.

"Good night, Ate Gretch." Alyssa said as she forms a thin line of her lips.

As soon as Alyssa closed the door she squints her eyes to Ella whose busy on her phone. Before she could start ranting to Ella she interrupted her by raising the phone she was using earlier to her face.

"Hep. Besh may nagtext pala sayo." Ella said and gave Alyssa's phone back.

Alyssa opened her phone to read the message and it's contents shook her wide awake.

Good night, Ly :)

To: Mick-a Reyes
Good night din :D

"Besh!" Alyssa exclaimed as she read the text. She then looked at her roommate whose preparing for bed.

"Ano? Nag-good night sya. Nag-good night lang din naman ako. Di mo naman na kailangan itext pa." Ella said as she lie down on her bed.

"Kahit na-" Alyssa wanted to argue but Ella cut her off again.

"Besides baka sabihin nya snob ka kung di mo rereplyan. So good night na din sayo, Besh. Matutulog na ako. " Ella said hugging a pillow close to her as she slowly doze off. "Regards mo na lang ako kay Mickey."

Honestly, Alyssa wanted to sleep already as she has to wake up early the next day. But a few exchange of text wouldn't hurt, right?

Meron. Kaso di ako makatulog e pero uminom na ako ng milk kaya ako nawala kanina. Hehe.

She wanted to say that she just got off a long interrogation from her teammates for tomorrow's "date" but that would be awkward.
