"You know you can't rush love."

The two teenagers laid beneath the stars. Carrie had her head rested on his chest, their legs tangled up with each others.

"I love you." Mike whispered, planting a kiss on top of her head.

"I know." Carrie smiled, before she looked up at her boyfriend. "Promise me something." She said softly, their eyes holding each other's gaze.

"Of course."

Carrie held onto his hands tighter. "Promise me that you'll never be tired of waiting. That you'll never ever leave. We'll stay together until we grow old and our hairs are gray and our faces are wrinkly."

Mike smiled, kissing her forehead. "I promise to never get tired of waiting for you. I will never ever leave you and I promise you that I would still be here beside you when we're old and wrinkly."

The newlywed couple lay beneath the sheets at nine in the morning after their first night together. "Good morning." Carrie mumbled, feeling Mike plant a kiss on the top of her head before looking up with a huge smile plastered on her face.

"Good morning Mrs. Fisher." Mike smiled down at his wife and pulled her closer. "How are you feeling?" He asked, running his hand on her arm.

"A bit sore." The blonde giggled. "But I'm alright." She smiled as Mike started to get up, going for his suitcase and pulling out a new shirt and clean pair of boxer shorts. She held the sheets tighter against her body as she sat up.

Mike walked over to his wife, handing her one of his shirts and an underwear. "We don't have to leave until later this afternoon so just rest until then. You don't have to do anything."

"That sounds boring." Carrie laughed, pulling the shirt over her head. "We have the whole golf course to ourselves we should use it. You can teach me how to play."

"Whatever the wife says." Mike laughed, returning back to the bed. "But first, breakfast." He smiled, pulling Carrie back a bit so she was laying on his chest.

"Mike."

"Hmm?" Mike placed the phone down after asking for room service and looked down at his wife who was now in deep thought.

"Was I worth the wait?"

Mike smiled, and kissed her lips. "You're worth everything."

"You said you would always love me, remember I said the same thing too."
