???'S POV

They've all went they're separate ways, but they all know in their hearts that Sky didn't go crazy. They all remember, all sworn to secrecy. Maybe this will be the end, so much time has passed since that fateful day. To think that if I was different, I could have been their friend, unthinkable. A part of their little team.

To think that this could be the final goodbye.

The final chapter in the first legend.

I guess I'll see them soon though.

JEROME'S POV

It's official. She's my official girlfriend. There are no words I want to say right now, there is nothing to say. To think that, in one day, I could go from being single to passionately in love. Preston seems jealous as hell but who even cares?

"Dude, take it slowly."

"Why should I? We're official. It's not like she's going to dump me right now."

"Yeah but still, we can't stay in Australia forever."

"I know, but its not like I have anywhere else to be. There's nobody I need to look after and who cares 'bout that stupid job."

Preston sighs.

"If you stay here then I'll have to go back to America, my sister can't cope on her own..."

There is silence for a few seconds, he gets up.

"The light train leaves tomorrow."

"I'm happy here Preston."

He left yesterday but I don't care for anyone in the world more than Louise. We've been on two dates since we met just a few days ago and I am convinced that I can love no one more than her. I don't know where I'm going to go but I'm hoping that she will ask me to move in. It's pretty rude but its my only hope at the moment apart from the unforgivable option of going back on the train.

Right now I'm sitting next to her, the sun's setting on the beach and it couldn't be more romantic. We've spent the whole day covering each other in sand and its all stuck to my skin. I lean in to kiss and she responds, it's just like a movie. After a long kiss we pull apart,

"I never want to leave here, It's too beautiful. No light trains or hovercraft, just us and the sea."

"Do you want to stay at my place tonight?"

"Sure honey."

My plan is working!

"You know Jerome, I've always wondered what that gold clock necklace is that you wear."

"I don't know where it comes from but my father gave it to me, he said I'd need it one day."

"I wonder what he meant... What can a clock do apart from tell the time?"

"Huh. Everyone asks why I wear it but I just say, it feels right."

She laughs

"Must be special!"

"It is."

The next morning, we head down to the city and have breakfast and coffee there, its busy so we have to book but that's ok. We take an hour, chatting and telling each other stuff about ourselves like how I used to do YouTube, about my strength ability and how my nickname had ASF in it. She told me that her friend went to a hunger games two centuries ago and never came back. Somehow, hearing that felt like a punch in the face. We pay and walk out onto the bustling road where hover cars are speeding overhead and some people are flying to avoid the cues.
