people say
that it's better to try and fail
than to never have tried at all
but i disagree
i won't pretend
that trying and
eventually succeeding
isn't worth a bit of
embarrassment and disappointment
but i can honestly say
that it will always
be easier and better
to know that you're
wasting your life
than to know that
no matter how hard you try
your life will be a waste
