Chapter 2: Meeting new people

Kojiro's POV

As I entered the building where Unohona works, I met a few new faces. People I've never met before.

A young girl with dark brown hair, green eyes, and glasses. Huh! I always thought that I only wore glasses. Anyways...

There was a boy, who had orange spiky hair, and brown eyes. Weird. He kinda looks like me. Except I have black hair, glasses and silver eyes. Hmm... Oh, and there was another girl. She had mid-length dark brown hair, brown eyes, and tanned skin. Just a hint of shade, not too dark.

Then,I realized...

"Hey! You're Toshiro's girlfriend! It's really nice to know he decided to settle down."

She said "Actually, he's still a Liutenant her at the Soul Society. Though it would be nice to settle down..." After she said that, a smile formed on her face.

I wonder who the other two are.....

"Kojiro, this is Courtney, you allready know Crystal, and Ichigo Kurasaki."

At the last name she said, I froze. How could this be? That's my last name as well.....

I shook each of their hands saying "Nice to meet you. My name is Kojiro." to each of them. Courtney asked me "What's your last name?" I froze again. I decided to tell her "It's Kurasaki" She froze and her eyes widened.  After Courtney let go of my hand, she went to Ichigo, and wrapped her arms around his waist. They must be dating...

Unohana then said "I must go to a meeting. Kojiro. Go practice in the backyard until I come back. And remember concentrate, or you'll never master the art of kido."

I looked at her, bowed, and said "Yes, Teacher."

Courtney's POV

Wow. This guy looks almost like Ichigo. He has some scars on his face. And, some of his features are different. He has black hair, silver eyes, and glasses. And they're related, too......

Back t Kojiro's POV

I'm gonna have to see if Ichigo is a distant cousin, or something... Later, though. Right now, I'll have to practice my kido.

Afterwards...

Man, two and a half hours of practice and now. I'm ready to create my own kido! I didn't think it was possible! All right...

The spiritual pressure rose to a surprisingly high level all of a sudden. I almost broke my stance if it weren't for my mechanical limbs. "What the hell?"

I jumped onto the ceiling of the building and looked around. Hmm.... nothing.

"You sensed it too, didn't you?" Unohona asked me.

"Yeah, it was pretty powerful. But not enough to knock me down. But still..."

"Come on, let's create your kido." She then jumped down to the backyard. I followed.

"Remember to concentrate. Calm yourself. Empty your mind."

I did as told. then I chanted "Power of the sun, Star in space, Grant me thy power, Give me thy strength, Allow to to smite thine enemies...... Solar Kido # 1! Solar Blast!" I then shot an immense ball of light into the air. When it reached a certain point, it exploded. It was almost as bright as the sun. I covered my eyes.

"Congratulations. You have mastered the art of kido." Unahona then handed me a diploma and kissed my cheek.

"You have done well. my son." She then hugged me.

"Thank you.... Mother."
