Chapter 22: What have I done?

Julian's POV

After I left the Kurasaki Clinic, I decided to go to the one place that calmed me down.

The lake.

I didn't want to raise any suspicion, so I decided to use shunko to get there.

10 minutes later.....

The lake is so beautiful this time of the year. The sun's reflection on the water. The sound of waves washing over land.... so peaceful...

"Julian!" Courtney?!

As soon as she called my name, I turned around, and Courtney hugged me!

She was crying into my shirt. Why?

"I'm so sorry, Julian! I've caused your suffering! It's all my fault that you're hurt! I'm so sorry!"She sobbed. 

I turned around.

"I don't even want to live anymore! Kill me Julian!"

I jumped when I heard that, and a shiver went down my spine.

I turned around, hugged her, whispering in her ear. "Don't say things like that. It scares me..."

I backed away.

Then all of a sudden. my head started to pound like a drum.

 "AAAGGHH!!!!" I roared.

Many different things happened at once.

One angelic wing spread from my right shoulder, causing immense pain. Another wing, that looked a lot like a demonic wing, came out of my left.

My skin was on fire, and it was hard as rock.

Light shone from my eyes, and wind blew. Electricity crackled around me. I breathed snow out.

Julian's Inner World

I watched in horror as my Inner World was being torn apart by the 8 people that I've seen before.

One of them saw me. I bolted down the streets, trying to hide.

While I was running, the earth trembled underneath me, and a pillar of earth hit my stomach, sending me flying.

As I was falling, a blast of wind hit me and made me hit a building.

As I opened my eyes, glass shattered, and metal groaned as it started to fall forward.

I managed to get out, and float gently to the ground, using my foot jets to do so.

I looked at my body.

Shards of glass were stuck in my skin, and so were pieces of metal. I gritted my teeth as I pulled most of what I can out. I swore under my breath in pain.

I turned around, and was met by a blast of fire.

As the fire was burning me, it caused the pieces of metal, and glass shards to melt, causing unbearable pain throughout my body.

I walked forward, and manage to punch the person blowing fire at me.

I jumped off that building and crashed through another window, falling over when I did so.

Next thing I knew the place filled with water, almost drowning me.

I fell through the window which I shattered, and landed on top of a car, completely destroying it.

I groaned in pain. 7 of the 8 people surounded me, forming a circle.

The missing person, pulled me into a hug, and whispered into my ear:

"Wake up...." When I closed my eyes, I heard it echo throughout my mind.

Courtney's POV

"JULIAN!!" I screamed as I caught him when he collapsed.

"Wake up! Wake up!!!" I screamed when he didn't respond.

"Julian... please wake up..." I heard movement behind me, and looked.

Ichigo, Rukia, and the others were here. They must've been worried when they heard me scream.

"...Courtney?"
