Chapter 16

Later...

Riker POV

"Look, I wanted to come to Dalton so I could spend time with you. You're my twin. Twins shouldn't be separated. But also, I can't deal with Sebastian. He's evil. I can't spend another night in that room," I said to Jeff.

"I know you hate him. We all do. But I don't know what we can do about it," Jeff said.

I sighed, and flopped down on Jeff's bed.

"This is literally my last goal. I made it to Dalton and passed my audition. I just need to get a good roommate, and my life will finally be perfect."

"You could try talking to someone in the main office."

"What am I going to say? My roommate is evil? Give me a new room?"

"I don't know. Maybe if you explained why you don't want to room with him, and Nick and I back you up, maybe they'll do something."

"I think we need proof."

"Didn't he give you a bathroom schedule or something?"

"Well yeah, but they could just say that I wrote it. We need video evidence of him being a jerk face."

"Well then just go back in your room right now and record something! I'm sure as soon as you go back in there, he'll do something obnoxious."

"Fine. It's worth a shot, at least."

"And once we have evidence, we'll just go to the main office."

"Ok. I'll be back as soon as he does something."

I got up, and walked down the hall to my room. I turned on my phone, and set it to record as soon as I walked in.

"How's your idiot brother?" Sebastian asked.

"He's not an idiot."

"Well he's not so smart either. And he's a scaredy cat."

"Can you stop picking on my brother?"

"No. It's fun. But what's even better is when we're about to take a test. Before class, Nick and Jeff are always in the bathroom. And Nick is like, giving Jeff a pep talk for the test. And your brother is always like, about to fall apart. He's always nervous and anxious, and it's really funny."

"It's not funny. And it's not his fault that he's anxious. He's had a hard life."

"Oh yeah, I can imagine how hard it is to live with you. You're super annoying."

"No. He used to live with an abusive family. That's why he's anxious."

"Yeah, well that's his problem."

"Well stop picking on him for it. He's handling it the best he can. And if he needs Nick to give him a pep talk before a test, then I think that's 100% fine."

"He shouldn't even be here, you know. And he only got into the Warblers because everyone felt bad for him."

"That is not true! He's a great singer!"

"Yeah, well I have a different opinion."

"Whatever, Sebastian."

I left the room, and got Nick and Jeff. We all went to the main office together. I played the recording and explained everything, especially how Sebastian's bullying my brother.

"Well, Riker... We don't have any other room openings. I'm sorry."

"But I can't live with him! I'd rather leave Dalton than room with that creep!"

"There's nothing I can do, Riker. I'm sorry."

"Fine..."

We left. I was walking fast because I was extremely frustrated.

"Riker, wait! You're not going to leave Dalton, are you!?" Jeff asked, grabbing my arm.

"I can't deal with him, Jeff."

"Ok, ok, I get it. I have an idea, ok? You go chill in the cafeteria. I'll come get you in a little while."

"Fine..."

Jeff POV

"What's your idea?" Nick asked, after Riker was gone.

"Let's just take his bed out of his room, and put it in our room."

"Oh... That's a great idea!"

"I know, right!?"

"Let's go get David and Trent to help us."

Later...

Riker POV

"Ok, come upstairs," Jeff said, holding onto my arm.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"We solved your problem. You don't room with Sebastian anymore."

They led me down the hall until we stopped in front of a door.

"Jeff, this is your room."

"No. It's our room."

He opened the door, and there were 3 beds in there.

"Wait. Is this even allowed?"

"Riker, it's not like they can do something about it if we're all fine with it. We're perfectly happy, and Sebastian's perfectly happy being alone. You've finally got what you wanted. And we moved all of your clothes and everything in here too."

"Thank you so much! This is amazing!"

"Well Nick, Trent, and David helped."

I hugged all my friends. Finally I can be happy and protect my twin.

Later...

Riker POV

"Night, guys," Nick said.

"Wait, I'm not ready!" I said, jumping from my bed over to Jeff's.

I wrapped my arms around him tightly. He did the same.

"Thanks for everything today," I whispered.

"You're welcome."

"Literally everything is perfect now."

"I know. We're finally safe and together."

I hugged him tighter.

"Night, Jeff."

"Night, Riker."

I pulled away, and jumped back over to my bed, which was about a foot away. Our room was kind of cramped now, but it was ok. We were just happy to be together.

"Ok, can I shut the light off now?" Nick asked.

"Wait!" I said, getting under the covers.

Jeff looked at me, trying not to laugh.

"Love you!" I said, smiling at him.

"Love you too, Riker. Night."

"Night."

Nick shut off the light. And I was finally able to fall asleep happily.

The end.

Thank you all for reading. I have 2 other ongoing stories up at the moment that I would love for you guys to go check out. One is called Riker's Christmas Wish, and everyone seems to like it a lot because it's almost Christmas. It's about Riker falling in love with a girl. But the girl's father doesn't approve of him. And I have another book out called In Love with a Warbler. A girl transfers to Dalton after her parents die, and eventually falls for Jeff, which was Riker's character in Glee. Thanks for reading! ~ Kylie
