As we sit outside & talk i really start to connect with dude. I learned he graduated last year from our schools rival school. He's going to college on a basketball scholarship, and he lives not to far from here. I tell him I just moved into my apartment today up at Penn State and his jaw dropped. I asked him why that face & he said that's where he's going to school at. Instantly i thought this was fate. He was staying on campus but when we both go back he wants to link up. He asked for my phone to put his number in. He said " so are you going to hit me up or am i just gonna be another contact to collect dust"? I reassure him he will be hearing from me. He was leaving because he was playing the designated driver for the night. He kissed me on the cheek & told me to not forget about him. Lord knows i couldn't if i tried. Jasmine had came out the door a few moments later saying she was ready to leave but she was going home with Andre ( her on & off again boyfriend ). I checked my phone & seen i had a message from Ivy " The coast is clear 😉. Come home & tell me about your night ". So i waited around for an hour to sober up a little more. All i had was a sip of that drink & four shots but i wasn't going to risk it. I got in my car i headed home. By the time i got home Ivy was in bed sleep. She left a note on the counter " there's pizza in the fridge, i tried waiting up but got tired plus D left you a graduation present on your bed 🙂 goodnight love you ". I smiled , warmed up the pizza & made my way to my room. I see a box on my bed. Wrapped & attached with a card. I open the card. " Mya , i just want to thank you for being the friend you are to Ivy, i couldn't ask for anyone better to have her back. You steer her in the right direction & never let her get out of line. Good friends like you are hard to come by. Plus you became one of mine. Thank you for everything. - D ". I proceed to open the box & its a Pitt University hoodie ( the college he chose ) & 4 gift cards. All to restaurants me & ivy love. I send him a message sorry for it being so late but thank you for the gift. As the message sends i think about Julian should I call him ? Should I text him ?
