I spent 5 minutes working up the courage to do so. Im not a shy person but this man has me blushing. So i say screw it & hit the call button. Riiiing. Riiiing. Riiiing. Followed by a raspy " yooo ". " heyy umm. Its " he cut me off " Mya ". " yeah " i replied. " are you okay ? Something wrong ? " i quickly said no " what time is it ? I didnt even know. I looked at the clock on my phone. 😳 its 3:02 in the morning. I called to flirt with someone not even realizing how late it was. " its 3 am but i wanted to make sure you made it home safe ". He chuckled " oh yeah ? I made it around 1:30 ish, did you make it back to Jasmines ?" I smiled " no i just drove back home " I can hear his smile in his voice. " oh really ? Well would you want some company ? As much as i wanted to blurt out yes i didn't wanna move to fast so i asked him to meet up tomorrow. He was fine with that then we hung up. I woke up the next morning & Ivy was cooking breakfast. I sat & told her all about last night & she told me about her evening. We finished unpacking & spent the day watching tv. Around 5 i got a text from Julian " hey wanna do dinner & a movie " ? I replied with yes 🙂 " shoot me your address & be ready around 7 ? " i texted back " sounds good ". I told Ivy & we immediately headed upstairs to pick the perfect outfit. I picked out my best jeans , a low cut olive green shirt with my black jacket & black knee high boots. He pulled up & knocked on the door. Im so use to the simple " im here " text guys i was shocked. I let him in & ivy was in the shower so i couldn't introduce him. We locked up & was on our way. He asked what type of food & movies i liked. I told him I'm not picky just to surprise me. So we went & ate Italian followed by an action flick. We laughed & got to know each other more. About four hours passed & he needed to head home because he had 5 am basketball practice. He pulled up to my building, turned the music down, & proceeded to tell me he had a great time & he really likes me & where this is heading. I reassured him i felt the same. We had a long kiss before i had to pull myself off of him and i got out. I headed in the door with him watching my every move until my building door shut. I proceeded up the steps & i hear Keyshia Cole blasting. Every female knows what that means. So i open the door to find Ivy crying & going through things. I sit her down , turn the music low, & ask whats wrong. " i logged into Darien's Instagram account & there he is messaging Ashley from school telling her he had an amazing time with her last night & he's ready for round 2. My heart broke for my best friend. School starts next week & she has to go into it with a cloudy judgement & a broken heart. We turned the music up, drank a bottle of wine, & sang / danced our hearts out. I didn't even bother to brag about my night. I know whats more important
