"You... You don't mean that! You love me, and I love you! Wade was a bastard! He stole you from me!" Aaron screamed.
"What? I don't love you like that, Aaron. And Wade was..."
Mark paused, a single tear streaming down his face.
"He was my best friend. And he's not the bastard here; you are."
"Oh, please! Wade was a faggot and you know it!"
Jack patted Carrie on the shoulder, taking a few steps towards Yami, anger brewing deep within him.
"Hell, even you hated him, Mark! That's the real reason you made fun of him. Unless it was the opposite...?"
A few steps closer; almost there.
"Maybe that's what happened to you, Mark. That dumbass boy-toy changed y-"
Aaron's open mouth was met by Jack's fist. The shock made the British man stumble backwards, and he slowly realized his lip was busted.
"You Irish whore... You'll pay for that."
"Bring it on, bitch."
"Woah," Bob interrupted, stepping between them, "no fighting. There's a child in the room." He finished, gesturing to Carrie, who by now was feeling a bit uneasy.
"Yeah," Felix agreed. "As much as I'd love to see Jack kick Aaron's ass, I think the noise would draw some unwanted animatronic attention."
Aaron scoffed. "Him kick my ass? Please."
"Aaron, Felix and I just saved your ass. The least you could do is keep yourself from talking out of it." Bob retorted.
Aaron, defeated, went into the corner and began to sob. Carrie, always the sympathetic one, sat down beside him. The man didn't notice her presence until she placed an arm on his shoulder. He looked at her confused before engulfing her in a hug as she softly rubbed his back.
Bob and Felix were discussing plans in the opposite corner, and Jack and Mark sat on the bed together.
"I'm sorry about Wade. He was my friend too, but he was your best friend. I cant imagine what I'd do if I lost you..." Jack whispered.
Mark couldn't handle it. He broke into a hysteric sobbing fit. Jack held him, telling him it was ok to cry. Bob got up to comfort Mark as well, but Felix stopped him, smiling at the scene.
"What're you... Oh. Aww..." Bob said, realizing his Swedish friend's point of view. By that time, Mark was only sniffling, holding onto Jack for dear life and resting his head on the taller's shoulder.
A glass-shattering scream erupted from the corner of the room, and Aaron ran from the room mere seconds afterwards. Carrie was crying.
"What happened? Are you alright?"
Jack gently pushed Mark away from him, standing up and reaching Carrie at the same time as Bob and Felix, Mark arriving shortly after.
"H-he slapped me..." She croaked out.
"What?!"
Jack felt his blood boil.
"The bastard..." Mark mumbled.
"I was talking about-"
The girl cut herself off.
"A movie... And he slapped me..."
"Carrie, be honest. What did you say?" Felix asked cautiously, concerned by her hesitation. Carrie gestured for him to lean closer so she could whisper.
"I mentioned how cute Mark and Jack look together."
Felix grinned widely.
"I agree, but as you may know, he hates the idea of that ever happening, even though it really should."
The other three men glanced at one another, highly confused, as Carrie giggled, nodding, Felix smiling warmly at her.
"Whatever was said, he shouldn't have slapped you. But he's obviously not too bright, especially considering he just ran into animatronic territory unarmed and ill-informed." Bob chided.
Jack thought for a moment and sighed. He reluctantly parted his lips to speak.
"I suppose we'll have to go get the bastard."
