Derek broke away from the ever so heated kiss. His body over top of mine keeping me warm in the cold warehouse.

"What's wrong?" I asked breathlessly, as I let my eyes search his bare chest.

He panted, obviously out of breath like me, "You need to get to school. We don't need you being late, considering you skipped school for like the entirety of last week."

"Fine, but that does mean you're going to have to get off of me." I raised my eyebrows at him.

He pursed his lips, "Right."

Derek rolled off of me and I crawled off of the bed, pulling my sweatshirt back over my head. I quietly exited his bedroom and made my way down the hall to my bedroom here. Smart me had stored extra clothes here for when I wanted to stay the night. I peeled off my clothes from yesterday and redressed myself in a pair of black skinny jeans and a white long sleeve shirt, pairing the outfit with my all black converse. My long brown hair flowed freely today, it surprisingly still looked good.

"I didn't know you stayed the night." Isaac spoke as I exited my room.

I smiled at him with a straight face, suddenly feeling guilty for my time with Derek, "I did, but now I'm leaving. School."

"No way, me too." he laughed.

I raised my eyebrows, "Aren't you still a fugitive?"

"Not anymore. Thanks to Jackson." he smirked as we walked outside together.

The blue Jeep sitting outside the warehouse brought me back to reality.

"Shit." I said as I facepalmed.

Isaac furrowed his eyebrows at me, "What?"

"I still have my brother's car. He probably hates me seeing that he had to ride the bus to school this morning." I groaned as I pulled the keys out of my backpack.

Isaac gestured to the vehicle, "We might as well return it."

"I just talked to my dad, who talked to Jackson and I've got terrible, horrible, very, very, bad news." Stiles rambled to Scott as he ran into the classroom.

I was seated in front of Scott in my normal seat, listening to their conversation.

Scott gestured diagonally forward, "I think I already know."

The two of them looked forward and I looked beside me. They were talking about Isaac. Isaac Lahey who just sat in his chair, his upper body adorned with that leather jacket, smirking to himself.

I decided to break the ice and leaned over toward Isaac, showing him a smile, "Nice to have you back, Isaac."

My comment resulted in Scott kicking my chair and me glaring back at him.

"It's nice to be back, Collins." Isaac smiled back at me.

Stiles gestured between us, "When did you two become so buddy buddy?"

"Last week?" Isaac raised his eyebrows, "That sounds a bit right. Back when she was living with us."

I mentally cursed Isaac. Stiles knew that I had been with Derek, but I'm not sure he knew that Isaac was there.

"Is that where you were last night too, Collins?" Stiles asked.

Isaac nodded, "You betcha."

After class ended, I followed Stiles and Scott out into the hallway. Stiles was sharing the information he had found last night of the Kanima.
