Chapter 9

Luke's P.O.V

"She's going to be fine." I let out a sigh of relief and hug Leia.

Police officers come into the hospital and they make there way over to us, the doctor goes back in the room.

"You are under arrest sir," He says handcuffing my father's hands together.

"For what cheating?" He asks

"No, don't get smart with me, for sexual assault on that girl you cheated on your wife with." He says

They drag him outside.

The doctor comes back: "Would you like to see your mother or no?"

"Yes please."

I go into the room and see my mother lying there on the hospital bed, I walk to her side and take her hand in mine, She opens her eyes.

"Mom, I need you." I say as i hug her tight

"Listen, I'm sorry I scared you, I promise you, I'm not going anywhere."

Leia's P.O.V

"Hey guys i'm just going to go for a walk around the hospital, Text me if Luke needs me,"

I get up out of my seat, I pass a lot of rooms, I see this lady with brown hair and she looks like shes roughly around my age, I decide i want to cheer her up.

I take a seat next to her.

"Hi." She looks up at me and smiles.

"Hi."

"What's wrong?"

"My baby is not well, he was born to early and is not recovering."

"I'm so sorry," She nods

"What about you?"

"My boyfriend Luke, his mom attempted suicide." I say

"Tell him I'm dearly sorry."

"What's your name?"

"My name is Autumn."

I've got to admit, That name suits her a lot.

"What's your name?"

"Leia."

"That's a nice name."

"Thanks, do you mind if i go wish your baby some good luck?"

"I don't mind, Anyway his name is Trevor."

"That's a nice name."

A nurse walks past.

"Umm nurse." She says

"Yes."

"Can she wish my baby in there luck."

"Only family."

"Please, she might help him get better."

"For your confidence of it working, okay."

---------2 minutes later

I enter the room and Autumn points to the box with him in it, no one's in this room

"Hello Trevor, You get better okay, I barely know your mother, I just met her in the hospital, You needed some hope, So i came to give you some, Your mother is so worried about you, Just go out in the world, I promise if you get better you won't regret it, You'll be so cool and popular and you'll have so much to live for so don't blow your mother or the people that really could care about you off, you get better, okay," I exit

Luke's P.O.V

I'm sitting in the chair beside her bed and holding her hand as she smiles at me.

"I heard that you got a girlfriend."

"Yeah Leia, it's like she's the prettiest and the best thing that's ever happened to me in my entire life. I first saw her as a friend but now, I see her as much more. I'm in love," She takes her hand out of mine and feels her heart,

"Mom, Mom! MOM! MOM!"

"I'm sorry Luke--"

I run out the door, screaming at the top of my lungs: "Please someone saves her,"

They all rush in and I'm pushed out of the doorway and the doors shut and to add to my worry Leia's not here.

"What's happening?" Asks Maggie

When did she get here?

"Where's Leia?!" I yell

"She went for a walk," James reassures and I sigh in relief.

Leia's P.O.V

I'm just walking back, I'm pretty proud of what i did. I walk the corner and as soon as I do, Luke runs up to me and hugs me tightly.

"You scared me." Hee says

"I missed you too, but why aren't you in there with your mother?"

"Something went wrong."

----------11 hours later

Luke's P.O.V

Leia's sleeping in my arms, I have to admit i'm tired, but i haven't heard any new about my mom so I've stayed up all night.

A doctor goes out of the room, I carefully take Leia out of my arms. I walk up to the doctor.

"I'm sorry, but we lost her, her heart and body wasn't strong enough."
