Chapter 9

Ava's pov.

I woke up and looked around at my surroundings to see I was in James room. I looked to my side to see James gone. I got off the bed and walked to the glass door, which led to the balcony. I stepped outside and walked across the balcony. I looked at the view which was very pretty you could see a small park with a pond in the distance.

"Hey Cutie" I heard James say behind me.

"Hey"

He stood next me looking at the view.

"It's nice isn't it?"

"Yeah"

"Hey I have a question?" He asked after a few minutes.

"And I have a answer"

"What's your second favorite kind of pop tart?"

"Why?"

"Just wondering" He shrugged

"Um...probably the cinnamon one"

"Yeah that's a good one"

"Yeah"

I looked at my watch to see it was 1 pm.

"Shit" I cursed

"What?"

"I was exposed to meet the gang an hour ago"

"Oh here I can let you can use a extra toothbrush, and you could probably just wear your clothes from yesterday"

I nodded and we walked inside. I quickly brushed my teeth and got dressed, I walked out of the bathroom to see James not in his bedroom. I shrugged and walked downstairs James was sitting on the floor playing on his phone.

"Why don't you sit on the couch?"

"Because I wanted to say goodbye" He said getting up.

He grabbed my hand and we walked to the front door we walked outside to my motorcycle. He wrapped me into a hug.

"Drive safe" He mumbled into my hair.

"I will"

We pulled back and looked at each other we started leaning in when we heard a voice behind him.

"Sir sorry to interrupt but work called saying they need you" A guy in a butler suit said.

James nodded looking annoyed.

"James?"

"Yeah?" He asked still sounding annoyed.

"Do you wanna kiss me that bad?"

He looked up at me and blushed, he scratched the back of his neck.

"What no I just w-"

Before he could finish I grabbed his face and pulled his lips down to mine. He seemed surprised at first but he kissed me back softly. Sparks ignited through my body which I have never felt before when I kissed someone. He rested his hands on my waist and pulled me closer so I was flush up against him which I didn't mind.

We pulled back to catch our breaths he rested his head on mine and smiled his charming smile at me.

"Best kiss ever" He muttered.

"I agree"

"Good"

"Well I better get going the boys are waiting for me"

He nodded and swiftly pecked my lips before backing away. I hopped onto my bike and drove off.

I stopped outside of the restaurant we were meeting at and walked in. I saw the boys all looking anxious in a booth. I walked over to them and plopped down next to Mike.
