Chapter 27

James pov.

3 months later.

I huffed and threw down the wrench onto the driveway.

"Ugh this is so confusing" I said shaking my head.

"Hey I know it's confusing but you'll get the hang of it Honey" Ava said rubbing my back.

Let me clear up your confusion, Ava is trying to teach me how to fix a car so I can become a car mechanic, and lets just say it's fucking hard as shit.

"How did you learn how to do this at 14?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Eh well I was desperate for money so I worked hard and I guess that got me the job" Ava said shrugging.

"Oh no!" I exclaimed looking at Ava.

"What?"

"Our baby is gonna have a father who is a quitter"

"No Honey your not a quitter, you're just frustrated that's all" Ava said grabbing my face.

I nodded and huffed.

"Here why don't we go inside and I'll make you a sandwich" Ava said grabbing my hand.

"Whoa is this whole pregnancy thing making you...nice?"

Ava glared at me and pulled me into the house. She pushed me onto one of the stools by the counter and she walked to the fridge. I stared at her back and smiled. Me and Ava have been living in our house for about 3 months and we are all moved in. We both love the neighborhood it has other kids and a playground down the street, which is nice. We are also planing on having the babies sex a mystery.

I still can't believe that Ava Johns is having my baby, it's crazy. When I first met her I knew there was something about her that was different then other girls. I love her so much, and what I have planed for our date tonight should prove it.

Ava's pov.

I was in the middle of making James sandwich when I felt a pair of eyes on me. I turned around to see James looking at me with a smile on his face.

"What are you smiling about?" I asked turning back around to finish the sandwich.

"Just thinking about how thankful I am for you" I heard James say.

I smiled and finished his sandwich quickly before turning around and walking over to him. I placed the plate in front of him on the counter.

"I'm thankful for you to baby" I said pecking his lips.

He smiled and started eating his sandwich.

"ARE YOU READY??!!" I heard James yell from the bottom of the stairs.

"1 MORE MINUTE!!" I yelled back while putting my earrings in.

James is taking me out on a date. Where? I have no idea. For some reason he always likes to surprise me for our dates, so I'm used to it. I finished getting ready and looked in the mirror, I nodded in approval at my reflection. I looked down at my stomach and smiled I'm so excited for the baby, I know in the beginning I was scared but know I'm just happy and excited.

I walked downstairs and saw James dressed nicely, his eyes lit up when he saw me and he smiled, I smiled back and walked up to him.

"You look breathtakingly beautiful as always" James said giving me a quick kiss.

"And you look handsome and cute as always"

"I'm not cute"

"Yes you are that's why I know for a fact that our baby is gonna be cute" I explained seriously.
