Chapter 14

Ava's pov.

Continuing from last chapter.

I got inside James car and looked outside the window to see James walking slowly to the car while holding his chest. Once he got in he looked at me and smiled.

"What's with the smile billionaire?" I asked crossing my arms.

"Did you really mean what you said in that long speech you gave my parents?"

"What did I say?"

"You know the part were you said that using James would be like loosing my family all over again"

"Ah yeah I did" I blushed looking down.

He softly grabbed my chin and looked me in the eyes.

"I'm sorry about them and I'm sorry that I made you come to this whole mess" He said looking sadly at me.

"Hey there is no reason to be sorry its not your fault your parents are like that, and you didn't know that that would happen"

"Yeah but if I woul-"

"James no this is not your fault you didn't know okay?"

"Okay" He breathed

He pulled out of the driveway and started driving down the busy road. He turned down the opposite road to my house.

"Where are we going?" I asked confused.

"Well I was thinking I would take you on a date, and we are already dressed for it anyway"

"A date?" I asked looking at him surprised.

"Yup"

"But you didn't ask me"

"I know"

"Okay...so where are we going for our...date...?"

"Now that is a surprise"

"Oh come on you know how much I hate surprises" I huffed sinking back into my chair.

"Not my problem"

"Hey that's my line!"

"It's mine now Cutie, so sit back and wait"

"Okay" I huffed

"Thank you"

We sat in silence for a few minutes before I broke it.

"Why do you call me Cutie?" I asked

I have always wanted to know but I never got the chance to ask him.

"Because your cute" He said shrugging.

"Wh- I am not cute I'm sexy as fuck"

He chuckled and shook his head.

"Your that to" He said winking at me.

"Finally you have realized"

"I have always realized Cutie" He said parking his car.

"Mhmm sure you have" I said sarcastically.

He rolled his eyes and got of the car, before I could open my door he was already opening it for me. 

"Thanks" I said smiling at him.

"Sure thing" 

We walked into the fancy looking restaurant hand in hand. The hostess showed us to our seat and told us that our waiter would be here in a few minutes. He left so I looked at James to see him already staring at me.
