Ava's pov.

1 month later

I was currently sitting on my kitchen floor surronded by beer bottles.

Yup I have been drinking like crazy.

To say that this was one of the worst months of my life would be an understanding. I have only left my apartment 3 times and that was only so I can get more beer. I haven't answered my phone in fact I turned it off.

My gang has tried to talk to me but I just block them out. James hasent tried to contact me at all, then again my phones off so I wouldn't know anyway.

I stood up from my spot on the floor and flinched since I haven't stood up for a while. I stumbled over to my bathroom and did my buisness, once I was done I stumbled back to my kitchen and sat back down on the floor.

Oh yeah I haven't gone to work all month so I'm low on cash which is great.

Note the sarcasm.

I was about to take a sip of my beer when there was a knock at my door. I grumbled incoherent words under my breath and stood up with my beer still in my hand. I stumbled over to my front door and opened it.

My eyes grew big when I saw who was in front of me.

My pathetic excuse of a father.

George.

"You happy to see your dad Ava?" He asked with a smirk that was just like mine.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I seethed

"What the fuck are you doing drunk?"

"Like you would give a flying shit"

"That's no way to speak to your father Ava"

"George you lost your father roll a long time ago" I huffed

"For the last time Ava I'm your father so you should call me dad!"

"Well your nothing like a dad to me so why would I call you that?"

"Take that back" He seethed

"What are you doing here?" I asked changing the subject.

"I ran out of money so I decided to come live here with you"

"Yeah no"

"Why the hell not?"

"Can't you see I have enough on my plate right now?" I asked gesturing to my beer bottle in my hand.

"What's wrong?"

"Like I would tell you"

"Ava talk to me with respect this instant!" He snapped in a fake demanding tone, that would've scared me a long time ago.

Not anymore.

"Why would I if I have no respect for you?" I asked crossing my arms.

"Ava you will let me stay here" He said in a threatening voice.

"Goodbye George" I said slamming the door in his face.

I quickly locked the door and walked back to my kitchen, instead of sitting back down on the floor I grabbed my phone. I turned it on and went to google, once I finished my goal on my phone I turned it back off, but not before seeing that I have 72 missed calls from James.

I grabbed my keys, wallet, and I threw on my shoes before leaving my apartment. I decided to walk to the store since I'm in no condition to drive what so ever. Once I reached Walmart I quickly bought a stack of boxes and duck tape before starting my journey back home.
