Robin gave Ross a suggestive look and both the twins looked in my direction.

I gave Ross a flat look, waiting for him to go on about his potential crush on my best friend.

"Both of you stop looking at me like that. I know I'm hot", Ross said smiling.

"Not again!", both me and Robin groan with frustration and hit our heads on the surface.
I hit my head on the table and Robin, having nothing around to hit his head on, goes to the nearby wall and does so.

Ross just continues standing while looking at us with disbelief as me and Robin are busy doing our drama.

The bell rings and students will soon start filling in.
Oh shit Ross didn't tell me anything.

"Ross! Hey you sir. You were supposed to tell me about your crush on my best friend who just happens to be your neighbour. Please go ahead!", I say to him in a worked up manner.
If he is not able to tell me now, he can't tell me any other time because Nell will be around or other people too.

"Aahh well Zee", he paused and looked around, "Since you heard it all I don't have anything to explain. But yeah, I'm pretty unsure about it. I do like her though.", he said.

"At least he accepted! He won't accept it and I guessed about it a month ago!", Robin exclaimed.

"What did you guess a month ago?", came a sharp voice, " the absence of a brain in your body? C'mon Rob you could've asked us, we knew about it already!", Nell said in a cooing voice.
Me and Ross doubled over laughing at that and the look of disgust at Rob's face was picture worthy.

"Ha. Ha. Ha. That was indeed funny. I must add very very funny", Robin said with a flat face and ended up making me and Ross laugh even harder.

We were slapping the desks like wild seals and clutching our stomachs when Rusty entered.

"Who are these two new boys?", he asked while looking at the twins, " both of you come here!", he said.

I smirk with satisfaction as I think that I won't be the lone target of Rusty's wrath in the class.
I got the twins with me yay!

Oh by the way, Rusty hates me and my guts. He loves Nell from the bottom of his heart.
But he hates me like there is no tomorrow.
No pun intended.
For instance, Nell had missed a few classes as she was unwell. Rusty had just entered and was arranging his papers or something. Nell asked me what all was done in the class and she wanted to see the notes he had given in the last classes. Just as I turned to her, Rusty started scolding me how I'm so restless and so talkative and blah blah. When he was done scolding me, he turned to Nell and said, "I got to know about your illness and I hope you're taking good care of yourself. Also teach your friend to talk less.", he stated.
I just had a flat, frustrated look on my face while Nell gave me an apologetic smile.

I really think that he can blame me for anything.
Next time if there is an earthquake or something, he'll say to me, "Zinnia, talk less! See even earthquakes are coming because of you!", and I'll be left wondering How?! How the fuck?! What even!?!?

I'm pulled out of my thoughts as Ross comes and sits in front of me.
"He's a nice guy. I like him.", pointing towards Rusty.

In reply to that I give him the flattest look possible and just stare at him hoping he'll say he was kidding.

Ross has a good sense of humour but the kid cannot speak in the language of sarcasm. Because if he speaks something sarcastically, it seems so genuine that we all are left thinking about what he just said.

Once he said he was gay and kept on going about it in the lunch break.
Trust me we actually bought it and after that he was just looking at us in disbelief.
Idiot!

"You've got to be kidding me! He fucking hates me!", said Robin as he sat in front of Nell.

"Do you get it now you dimwit?!", I say to Ross as I high five Robin.

"Whatever keeps your boat afloat!", Ross says and pauses, " but I still like him. He's cool.", me and Robin just ignore him am turn our attention to Nell who seemed to be enjoying the show.

"He has no issues with me, so I'm cool about him.", Nell commented.

"Yeah! She's right. Exactly!", Ross cheers for Nell.
Just then me and Robin look at each other and then at Ross and burst out laughing.

"Yeah of course she is!", me and Robin say in synch and high five each other again.

Nell just narrows her eyes at me and gives me a glare which made me laugh even harder.

"What part of silence do you not understand Zinnia?", Rusty shouts at me.

I compose myself and mumble an apology as Rusty starts teaching.

Nell just looks at me and smirks.
"Go ahead and continue with your bullshit", she teases me and I show her my tongue which she tries to catch but ain't able to.

Ha! I'm faster babe!

We both chuckle at this and concentrate on what Rusty is teaching.

Ross and Robin kept on troubling each other which earned them probably a hundred glares from our teacher but they didn't seem bothered.

The class went on like this and the bell rang.

Yay finally over. Now he'll go out!
What the hades?! He's still teaching.

I count till 50.

He's still there.

It has been 5 minutes now!

He won't go out!?!?

"Now children the bell has already rang and I'm a busy man. I could've taught you more but since I'm busy, I've got more work to do and I mustn't get late for that. Thank you children.", he speaks as he gets out.

Thank the heavens above he decided to set our caged souls free!

"Oh! By the way, why did you guys change your class?", Nell asks the twins.
