Adelaide grinned when she woke up. The Christmas ball was tonight. She admired the dress hanging from her bed and she couldn't wait to put it on.

After breakfast, Adelaide came to realise how slow the day was going.
She groaned in frustration causing Tom to look away from the lake at her.

"What is the matter with you?" He asked.
"Today is going so slow." She whined.
She laid down on her back and stared up at the sky that was almost white.
Tom pulled her up off the floor.
"The ground is freezing and if you get ill you won't be able to go to the ball." He informed her.

"Okay mam." She murmured.
Tom frowned at her.
"By all means, Adelaide lay on floor and while your at it why don't you go for a swim in the lake." He sarcastically retorted.

"Bloody hell, Tom! I get it." She said and let out a breath, before bursting out laughing.

Tom furrowed his eyebrows at her in confusion.
"It's just amusing when you show you care." She laughed.

Tom shook his head and went back to looking at the lake.
Adelaide rested against Tom and sighed.
"By the way, it's your turn to plan Christmas this year." Adelaide reminded Tom.
"I know." Tom sighed.
"You better do it, Tom or I won't give you you're Christmas present." She threatened.

"That's sounds quite appealing." Tom said.
She let out a airy laugh.
"You can continue to pretend to hate out Christmases Tom but I know the truth." Adelaide said.
"And what is that?" He asked.
"You love our Christmases and you look forward to them every year." She answered.
"Yes that is correct Adelaide. I love been woke up extremely early by your screaming so that we can open up present while you sing and dance." He sarcastically said.
"I know you do that's why I do it every year and that's why I am doing it again this year." She promised.

"Believe it or not, Adelaide but I've already planned our Christmas." He informed her.
"Really?!" Adelaide beamed with joy, he nodded.
"Thank you." She murmured and cuddled in closer to him.

Tom hesitantly wrapped and arm around her.

Adelaide fell asleep and was left with an hour and a half to get ready.

"I can do this." She said and jumped in the shower.

After getting washed and dried, Adelaide grabbed out a book of beauty spells and sat in front of her mirror.

The other girls in the dorms were all sat doing each other's makeup. Adelaide let out a little laugh when she imagined toms face if she asked him to do makeovers with her.
I bet you Abraxas would do makeovers. Adelaide thought to herself and mentally notes down to ask him.

The first spell Adelaide done was for her makeup.
Her eyes had a pinky nude colour with a touch of brown and finished with eyeliner. Then her lips were a cherry red. Her brown hair was half up, half down in a victory roll style.

After putting on her dress with some small heels, Adelaide looked at herself in the mirror. The dress was truly beautiful and she had to admit that she was too.

She still has five minutes before Tom would be waiting for her so she decided to put on her usual perfume and then eat some of her sweets.

The clock finally ticked to seven clock.
Adelaide jumped off her bed and once again walked over to the mirror.
She took in a deep breath and then smiled.

Adelaide walked into the common room and saw Tom waiting for her.

He looked devilishly handsome. His suit was all black and it perfectly matches his pale skin.
