You are crying tonight.
Scarlet tears fall,
Staining your pillow.
You scream out
In pain, but there is
No answer.
There is darkness, tonight,
In your room.
The stars have hidden
Their lights from you
And your eyes have to strain
To see the knife.
You are lonely, tonight.
No one to call
For help.
And no shoulder to
Cry your scarlet tears
Upon.
You are scared tonight,
But your fear turns
To anger, soon enough
And the anger turns to
Sadness, which makes you
Turn to the silver blade.
Stay strong, tonight.
Be brave, and
Turn your life around, tonight.
You can do it,
You and I, together, can stop the scarlet tears
From falling.
