Self harm isn't a label
You can't slap it on someone's chest
And say 'Hey, all you are is emo
Even at your very best!'
You can't group us together
You can't say we're all the same
Because something different went wrong along the path of life
For each of us, and that's a shame.
But life goes on
I know that, and so do many girls, we do.
I know there's a space, a place for me
And one day, one for you.
