fuck you.

Reiya slid her finger through the nice jeans on the rack until she found her size. She hummed the Fake Love tune by Drake.

"That's why they smile in face. Whole time wanna take my place, whole time wanna take my place." She sung as she pulled it from the rack, observing it and putting it to her torso.

Rei was trying to take her mind off the absence of China and the distance of Chase. Something was odd in the household. Yesterday, she heard a glass break and when she went to check Torei had a huge gash on her cheek like she had been cut. When Rei asked what happened, Chase answered saying "nothing" but Torei was balled up crying. This is something that used to happen when Rei would catch Torei and her ex baby daddy fighting, but Rei knew he was hitting her. Torei just finally fought back and he left. But now... Rei couldn't understand. Whenever she tried talking to China about it, she would change the subject.

"How much are these?" Rei asked someone that looked like they worked in the store.

The lady grabbed the jeans and Rei followed her as she walked to the register. "These are 12.99." She told her. Rei nodded before digging in her purse to get her wallet.

"Don't worry, I got it." She heard from behind her. When she looked back, the dude that was trying to harass her was there. Her eyes got wide as she dumped a solid twenty on the counter. "Keep the change."

Rei smiled at him as the lady bagged the pants. "Um... you didn't have to-"

"That's the only way a nigga can talk to ya gold digging ass though, right? If they buying you shit? You fucking trick ass bitch." He spat at her, his lip turned up.

He looked a little different, a scar braced his eye- a line going straight down to the top of his cheek. He looked meaner. Rei was scared like shit.

"Do I need to call security?" The woman behind the desk asked. Rei looked at her, her breathing getting shallow.

"Shut up, bitch." The boy spat before putting his hand on his belt. Rei's eyes followed, noticing the gun. Her eyes got wide. Suddenly, a hand stopped him from pulling the gun out.

"Yo, Mase. Chill out before the call the cops on your dumb ass." A boy, quite similar in the face said. He looked to the lady. "Sorry, he's kinda retarded."

The lady giggled. "No problem."

Mase snatched away. "Fuck you, Daye." He said before brushing pass Reiya. Rei exhaled with relief before leaning against the counter.

Daye looked at her, his caramel face stretching as he smiled, dimples gracing his cheeks. His hair had nappy twists pointing straight up and some outwards in a high top style, his sides cut properly and clean. He was tall, looking down at her as he continued to smile. "Sorry about my brother." He said to her.

New weakness. She thought as her eyes focused on his face.

Sin pushed her hair back behind her ears, a blunt pushed to her lips as she looked on her laptop looking for new job openings. She sighed. "Back to the restaurant.. glad I didn't fucking quit." She said through a cough to her friend, Roni, as she passed the blunt.

"Fuck that restaurant. I saw this couple today, he had this little ugly bitch. I shot him a look and wrote on a napkin telling him to meet me in the bathroom. Guess who bagged rich nigga that night." Roni yelled out, throwing her hands up before taking a hit.

Sin laughed loudly. "Really?"

Roni nodded. "Straight scooped his ass from his bitch. I rode his dick in the stall until my legs were numb then straight up sucked the soul outta him!" She bragged.

"I need ya skills. I was trying to bag this rich club owner named Wyn, he had a bitch and she came through to the club and saw me on his lap. He dropped me like a bad habit, bitch." Sin said with a grimace.

"Girl, bye. If you got on his lap, he's still bag-able. All you gotta do is get a stronger bag, hear me?" Roni replie, passing the blunt back. Sin took it as she thought on that. "So tell me about him. How many clubs he own? How you know he got money?"

Sin thought about Wyn. "First off, he got money out the ass. He bleeds the shit. I think he owns like two clubs in this city. He mad respected and shit so he gotta be known. I just didn't know he had a bitch, I mean she never was with him so..."

"Nobody put you on game at the club?" Roni asked as Sin took another hit.

"Yeah, one of his boys did. I figured she couldn't be all that if she wasn't with him." She said. "If he was mine, I'd never leave his side. He so damn fine."

"Was she even cute?" Roni asked when she passed the blunt that was shrinking back.

Sin let out a cough, now trying to picture Taylor. "I couldn't really see her face until we got outside. She was real pretty, could dress, and all that but I mean she was skinny and short, real dark skin. Cute but... not me." She said, flipping her curls.

"Obviously it's the other way around." Roni joked but Sin didn't find it funny.

"Just wait. He will be mine." She said before looking down at computer to continue her search.

"We can drop by to his spot tomorrow. We'll claim what's yours."

Sin nodded at Roni's response. That's right... "what's mine".
