19. Karmen - The Showdown

As soon as arrived I wasted no time. The security never saw me coming. I climbed up the tree and aimed at the three men at the front door.

*Pow*
*Pow*
*Pow*

They dropped like flies. I waited to see if anyone else would come to the front, no one did.

Hmmm... interesting.

I decided against going through the front door as I thought it might have been a trap. As I went round the back I heard footsteps. I kept still ready to shoot whoever came my way.

*Pow*

My adrenaline was pumping and I felt invincible! I came in through the back, no sight of anyone in the kitchen. As I made my way to the hallways I noticed an intruder alarm. I decided to do the unthinkable. I triggered it making the alarm sound throughout the house.

"EVERYONE TO THE BASEMENT" I heard someone call out.

Perfect.

I hid and watched as everyone ran into the same room. I then slid three grenades in and ran back out through the kitchen door.

*KABOOM*

The sound echoed as the grenades let off in the house.

Now was my time. I took my machine guns out and went in guns blazing. To my surprise my bombs did a better job than I anticipated. So many bodies scattered all over the floor. I started looking for Gabriella and Pedro and couldn't find them. I started getting angry.

How could they have got away?

"I will blow up this WHOLE house if I have to!" I said before having to take cover as shots started flying my direction.

"Tonight bitch you will die!" Was all I heard before more shots were let off in my direction.

I managed to see where the shots were coming from. When the shots stopped I went in all guns blazing.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed as I let out all the hurt, anger and frustration that had been building up over these years.

Two young guys dropped from all the bullets that entered their bodies.

It was then I noticed the floor move as if it was the entrance to a basement of some sort.

I ran over and lifted the trap door letting off more shots not caring who gets hit. As I made my way down into the basement I couldn't see anyone. Then all of a sudden I saw someone trying to make a run for it. I grabbed them. I heard her scream for her mum.

"I have your daughter. So if you want her to stay alive it's best you come out with your hands up and your guns down."

As soon as they came forward Pedro still had his gun in his hand unlike Gabriella. I shot him in both legs. He yelled out in pain.

"Didn't I say guns down? Do you think this is a game Pedro? Next time it will be your daughter. Now, Gabriella... tie up your bleeding husband. Remember... not doing as I say..." I then put the gun to the sobbing daughter.
