He looked at me incredulously for a few moments, unsure of how to respond. I began to redden.
"Umm... I think it's an important movement that brings awareness to the injustices faced by the minorities - people of colour - in westernised, Eurocentric societies" he finally replied as I calculated prices.
I was very impressed by the eloquence of his answer and smiled at him. Internally, I was made even more aware of his perfection.
"I really hope whoever you're giving all these gifts to really appreciate it." I finally said, printing a receipt. He leaned against the counter and gave me a dreamy smile.
"I hope so too." For a moment, I was frozen, and all I could do was look into his dark eyes as they stared back at me, studying me.
I cleared my throat suddenly.
"Umm have a good day." I mumbled and walked away, pretending like I needed to attend some other duties
