"No, actually." I coyly admitted, forcing a smile that would hopefully make me look less awkward. I tried to cover my face in my hair slightly. The bus, at that moment, hit a bump, and sent me into him.
I was clinging onto his shirt, I quickly realised, and hastily drew back, a redness spreading over my face, and I blushed.
"I don't either." He admitted, and my eyes actually widened. Perhaps my shock was very visible, as he chuckled at my reaction.
"But the gifts you bought for your crush.." I drawled off, looking at him in confusion. He shrugged and looked down at his thumbs, suddenly silencing. Frowning, I went back to my music.
"Jolene, we're kinda friends, right?" He suddenly asked. I nodded, confused as to where his sentence was headed.
"I can take a friend as a date."
