"He's got a girlfriend, I'm sure of it now!" I exclaimed my distress to Dina when I went home, and she just sighed at the other end of the line.
"Well, he never really was yours, was he?" She stated frankly. Her words echoed in my head, and I accepted the truth.
"I haven't found someone that attractive in ages." I mumbled.
"I know, girl, I know."
When the call finally ended, I went to draw a hot bath for myself, to calm down my nerves. I placed in a beautiful bath bomb into the waters and watched as the colours swirled in the water with utmost grace, a cacophony of colours being spit into the water.
A thought occurred to me: that bath bom was how I felt when I looked at Jacob.
When I was finally done with the bath, I headed to bed, before which I quickly checked my phone. I had gotten a new notification on Facebook, much to my surprise.
I clicked.
