Somewhere in the dark a little girl screamed. The pain filled scream echoed through my body, ripping a hole through my soul; filling me with such rage, that the room began to spin. The sound of her beating heart filled my head and the pain she was feeling washed my body with wave after wave of horrific pain.
I looked around the room at the two other men that were with me. Their eyes were filled with concern as they looked back at me."Jason whats wrong man?" Jared says, voice filled with concern."You looked like someone was slowly killing you."
Jared was clearly waiting for a answer, and I began to pace back and forth. Trying to find the words to tell my buddy's what the hell just happened. How do you find the words to tell someone else that something just attacked a piece of your soul, a piece that didn't even belong to you, but to a little girl out there somewhere in the dark world, a girl in horrible pain and she needs me right now? I thought.
They are known as the J squad;
Jason, John, and Jared.
A top notch squad for the U.S. army. They were brothers that went where no one else would. But these brothers did more then save the human race from themselves, they helped keep criminals vampires of there world in check. Right now they where finally on a well needed vacation in Mexico.Jared leaned over the pool table lining up his shot. Turning his head towards John he gave him a big smile and shot, sinking the last four balls on the table.
"Why the hell do I even play?" John said, while throwing his pool stick down. "It's not like I ever get a chance to shoot. Jason it your damn turn, and Jared's cheating again!" John yelled, continuing to grumble to himself.
Jason laughed, strolling out of his bedroom "And sinking every ball without missing isn't cheating, it just makes for a quick game."John rolled his eyes and headed for the mini bar.
"Anyone else need one?" he asked grabbing a beer.
"Me!" Jared piped up. Jason was already heading for the mini bar when John turned around. But Jason fell to his knees, his body shaking violently; sweat broke out on his forehead and his eyes begain to roll back in his head. John and Jared looked at each other vampires don't sweat.
He could feel her; her heart beat, the pain that seemed to be everywhere. He could hear her begging for it to stop. It seemed to go on forever, and then thankfully, she passed out.
John and Jared watched as their buddy screamed in pain on the floor of their hotel. Both were to shocked to move, then finally after a few minutes he went quite.
Jason popped back up to his feet and began pacing the floor.
"Jason what's wrong?" Jared asked. Thankfully the phone rang giving me a minute to think. It's the front desk wanting to know if there's a problem. Somone reported screaming from our room.
Just tell them someone got hit with a pool ball or something.
Thanks to a tall tale about someone getting hit in the nuts with a pool ball the front desk hung up.
Then two sets of eyes turned to me.
