Since I moved out to Cali I've been doing so good, I'm closer to God, I'm acting, doing shows and got in school. I had to give up a lot and let go of some people to walk in my destiny. I was learning and being taught so many new things. I've met so many new people, my whole life has changed! It's been 6 months since I last talked to Sin. Only person I talked to every now and then was Z. He kept trying to come out to Cali to visit but I didn't want no old flings coming my way, that mess was dead. I deleted my Facebook because too many people were messaging me about money, you know how family is when they see you doing big things. I had made an appearance on a few hit shows but nothing big.
My phone rung and it was my agent. "Hey Kalena, I have some big news for you!" I leaned on the counter in my kitchen "I'm listening." She bust out and said "You've been booked for a major movie with Omari Hardwick. They want you to star as his daughter." I started crying because I had auditioned for the role like 3 months ago. "Omg Lisa I'm so excited!" I yelled. "Well shooting is going to start next month but it's in Atlanta." She said. Oh shoot! Out of all places why there?! I didn't want anyone to know I'd be there and definitely didn't want to run into any old friends. But this was something God opened the door of opportunity for me so I accepted the role. I had purchased a nice little condo, was still driving the Honda, I was living simple.
