Chapter 4 - LIfe Calls for Two

Today's Time..

Teatherclaw twitched his wiskers in questioning, "Two shadows?..."  his head tilted a bit, thinking, "Oh yeah now I remember, they were-"

Ashclaw hissed him, "nahuhu! No spoilers" he pounced.

Bondleaf crouchs closer to Ashclaw, "now you gotten me curious, and it didn't seem likely that you "saw" them just squandering around the shadows" she protested.

Then he felt soft paws place on Ashclaws shouder, "I want to know who they are too" Silverkit begged.

Skykit head butted his sister to the side, "didn't you hear him, it was going to be a spoiler" he growled.

Her fur bristled, "don't push me!" Silverkit cuffed him around the hear, then Skykit barrels into her. A heartbeat later they started wrestling, kicking sand around the area.

"Skykit, Silverki! Stop, your tossing sand in our pelts!" yelled Bondleaf as they shook themselves apart.

"Sorry!" they both mewed.

Then a new voice came in from the back, "What is all the fuss, I could hear you all the way from the nursery" We all turn our head to see a bluish grey she-cat, her blue eyes giving affection towards the crowd. She was now heavy with kits, knowing how plump she is could be expecting any time during this moon.

Bondleaf leaps up to her paws and walks up to her in shock "Iceshade, so glad to see you out exercising" she sniff around, giving her a lick on the cheek, "are you feeling any pain at all?"

iceshade gave out a laugh and shook her head, "No Bondleaf, I'm perfectly fine" she looks at Teatherclaw waltzes up as he looks back at her nervously. 

Then she cuffs him around the ear, "ow what was that for!" he yowled as she leaps over to the otherside.

Then she started to tug his left ear with her teeth and lets go, "nothing just like to kid around" she cuffs him again.

Teatherclaw gives out a sheathing swipe to back her off as she laughs, "I would challenge you if you weren't holding my kits" he lightly prodded her on chest. 

She gave out a gasp and purposely falls over to her side flat with her head down, "ow,  oh no! You killed me and I cant get up anymore" she played.

Teatherclaw give out a laugh and lays his head on her tail, "Is their anything you need Iceshade?" he asked her as she licks her paws and begins to clean her face. 

"Not really, I just wanted to hear the story is all"  Oh no... , "heck I want to share my side of the story to these cutsey kitties" she laughed looking down at the two.

Skykit gave in a growl, "Hey im not cute!" he protest, "im a warrior! Best one their is" he said standing proud.

Groundtail pushed him back, "your a kit, not a warrior yet" he said,"anyways I have to get going, I got a patrol to settle up really quick, Teatherclaw sorry to end your story but im going to need you for the dawn patrol right now"

Teatherclaw gave a hiss of frustration, "Mouse- dung! cant I just stay here and finish?"

Groundtail gave in a murrow of laughter, "well telling stories doesn't bring back any prey now does it Teatherclaw" his voice died down, "now get to it" He growled as he held his paws out. Teatherclaw really didn't want to leave his spot. Then he began to shuffle his front paws like a kit. "Now Teatherclaw!" he demanded.

With a growling effort he got up, "Alright, alright....man..." kicking sand to the side he walks up to Iceshade and placed his muzzle against her cheeks, "I'll be back soon, I love you" he stumbles away and joins in  with Falconfur and Sunshine. As they went away through the front entrance made of solid sand stone,  Iceshade turns to the kits and the warriors along with the medicine cat Bondleaf.
